Most Realtors list a home with 6% commission; 3% to the listing agent and 3% to the buyer’s agent. We list for 2%. Our max is 4.5% but if we sell the home ourselves (no separate buyer agent) we only take 4%, not the 6% as others would do. That means working with you, we might get it done at the lower rate.
We list for a one year term but with 14 day cancellation. That means any time you want you can cancel our listing by giving us 14 days notice. That gives us time to remove the sign and cancel the listing.
Our efforts are focused on getting people to our web site so our Internet ads “push” them there. Printed ads have become almost useless so we use them very little. Reports show that 80% of buyers start on the internet. Our listings are pushed to over 30 sites. We pay monthly to be featured agents at Zillow, Yahoo, Trulia, Homefinder, AZCentral and Google.
There is currently a shortage of good listings so it is still a seller’s market. Prices have recently dropped and more homes are taking longer to sell, but priced right they do sell.
