A
s North America’s largest indoor boating event, the 66th annual Toronto International Boat Show promises an abundance of fun activities for everyone. The show will take place at the Enercare Centre from January 19th to 28th.
Attendees can kick off the weekend at the Indoor Wakeboard Canadian Championship from January 19th to 21st. The world’s largest indoor lake hosts this captivating showcase of talent, where participants have the chance to win cash prizes. And other exciting contests await, including a chance to win boat show ticket packages, a Princecraft fishing boat, or a $10,000 credit toward your boat purchase. Throughout the show, attendees can benefit from 440 free seminars spread across eight locations within the venue. These will cover topics such as boat maintenance, custom aluminum sailboat construction, safe cruising in the Bruce Peninsula, fishing techniques, and more. Also, the Boating Resource Centre will provide expert advice and comprehensive information on all aspects of boating. With no shortage of boats on display, visitors will have the opportunity to compare various brands and schedule appointments with on-site dealers. The show will host over 500 exhibitors, featuring industry leaders including Bayfield Marine Services, Wow Watersports, and Hurricane Deck Boats. As an international event, the show will present a wide array of products not commonly found at local boat shows. Among the many offerings, anticipate discovering new products like Race X, NSX Trousers, and Red Shark Bikes. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at sailing, you’ll be able to do so at the Ontario Sailing booth. This provides guests with the chance to navigate the waters through a virtual reality headset. Also, the world’s first robotic sailing mark, MarkSetBot, will be on display at this booth. Tickets for one day at the Toronto International Boat Show start at $25, and children 16 and under can attend for free.
