Molly Baltrusch
Havre Public School's Classified employee of the Year
2017
Congratulations, Molly Batlrusch, Havre Public Schools’ 2017 Classified Employee of the Year. Molly represents the non-teaching employees of the district including clerical, maintenance, custodial, technology, school food service, para professional, nurse, and transportation workers. Molly’s employment area is clerical staff. Additional outstanding nominees considered for this honor were: Christine Huston (Clerical at Sunnyside Intermediate School), Mike Badgley (transportation), and Woody Woodwick (transportation). With great pleasure, Classified Employee of the Year 2016, Tobey Schlotfeldt, introduced Molly as the 2017 Classified Employee of the year at the Havre Public Schools’ yearly Pride Celebration with these words from Molly’s nomination letter. “Molly is one of the most dependable, kind, hardworking individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. There is no task too large or too small that you could ask of Molly that she would not give 100% to, and happily so. Molly greets every individual that enters or calls in to Robins pleasantly and professionally and goes out of her way to assist them with whatever they may need. Molly is truly one of a kind and we are so very lucky to have her here in our district.” She began her 27 year district career at the Highland Park school as a part time secretary and has worked in the Middle School, the bus garage and Sunnyside until August of 2014 when she became the receptionist at the front desk of the Robins Administration Building. One of her responsibilities is managing the Absence Management System, AESOP, for substitutes and helping with substitute paperwork. Her nomination letter states, “Molly’s knowledge and expertise with AESOP is second to none. There is a lot of behind the scenes time and work that she puts in to keeping the system cleaned up and running smoothly. Her commitment to keeping an active sub pool by regularly contacting individuals on the sub list is no easy task. I see Molly regularly participating in webinars and watching training videos helping build her knowledge of AESOP. She is happy to assist building secretaries with questions or do whatever she can to help them fill an unfilled absence. Molly’s dedication to AESOP helps keep every building in the district running smoothly.” Her school career began as her two children, Jenna and Kyle, were entering elementary school. Having part of her summers off to assist her husband, Gary, who is a talented artist and farmer/rancher, was alluring so that she could help during this very busy season. As with all she does, Molly handles her role in the family business with kindness and grace. Molly states that working in the district provides great opportunities. The work is challenging yet fun and rewarding. The challenging part is keeping up with technology while the best part of her job is connecting with people whether they be students and their family members or other staff members. Another perk of the job is being part of a team that encourages kids to do and be their best. When Molly is not at work, she enjoys reading, baking, golf, physical fitness, helping with fund raisers and participating in various church activities. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for Havre Public Schools.
Thanks for your continued dedication to Havre Public Schools Molly Baltrusch!

Superintendent's Message... Superintendent's Message…
We hope you had a joyous Holiday Season from the Havre Board of Trustees … Committed to providing an Outstanding Education to our Students with the Support of the Community!
CORE VALUES
As the calendar year winds down, we are nearing the midpoint of the 2017-2018 school year. The pace in our schools seems to grow exponentially as we draw nearer to the end of the first semester. There is an event or activity nearly every night in one of our facilities. It really is such a wonderful time of the year. From elementary programs to high school concerts it is always a pleasure to watch and listen to our students perform. It is always gratifying as well, to see the great turnouts we have of family and friends at all of our events. We do have some obstacles ahead of us as a school district as we move toward the new year and begin to plan for the 2018-2019 school year. There is a definite balance that needs to be met with decreasing enrollment and continuing to have high expectations for our school district. The Havre Board of Trustees continues to be committed to addressing infrastructure and programming needs even with mounting challenges. Our Community Education program coordinator, Tiffany Olsen, works hard to put together many quality and diverse course offerings. We hope that you will find something that piques your interest and encourages you to try a new skill, or perhaps take a refresher course on a hobby that you have not had time for in recent years. Either way, we would welcome you to sign up this winter and take part in one or several course offerings.
