Please register beginning April 23rd. All students must register one week prior to starting a class. All fees must be paid within one week of registration or the student will be dropped from class. In order to prepare, instructors of all classes need to know how many students will be attending. Low enrollment may cause a class to be cancelled and several classes have limited enrollment available. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified. If you won’t be able to attend a class in which you have registered for, please call and cancel so there is room for someone else. Liability waivers are required for participation in Community Education exercise classes. Students MUST be at least 18 years of age to participate in classes.

The printing of our Spring Community Education flyer signals we are nearing the end of another school year. We are very proud of and fortunate to have a strong community education program. Tiffany has done an outstanding job of putting together a variety of new offerings and of course favorites that have become cornerstones of our spring session. With warm weather on the way (trying to will it in), hopefully one of the classes will catch your interest and you are able to take advantage of this year’s spring session.

Havre Public Schools is not going to run an election this school year as all three Trustee positions are being filled by incumbent trustees that are running unopposed. We are also not going to run a levy due to the increase that our local taxpayers realized through House Bill 647. Remember, this was due to legislative action and was not a result of a local vote or action of the Havre Board of Trustees. I have shared this with multiple groups and individuals. Any persons or groups that would like additional details can visit with me at the Robins Administration Building. There are some significant challenges that are readily present as we look toward the 2018-19 school year and into the future. Currently our enrollment is sitting just over 1700 students K-12. This is going to impact both our funding and our facility alignment. The Havre Board of Trustees has planned and been cognizant of the great support we have realized from the Havre Community over the years. We anticipate that an operational levy will be necessary in the 2018-2019 school year. If there are any service groups or organizations that would like to hear about what is happening in Havre Public Schools, I would greatly welcome the opportunity to share our story. If a class is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, you will be notified and refunded any payments you have made. A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks.
Please register beginning April 23rd. All students must register one week prior to starting a class. All fees must be paid within one week of registration or the student will be dropped from class. In order to prepare, instructors of all classes need to know how many students will be attending. Low enrollment may cause a class to be cancelled and several classes have limited enrollment available. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified. If you won’t be able to attend a class in which you have registered for, please call and cancel so there is room for someone else. Liability waivers are required for participation in Community Education exercise classes. Students MUST be at least 18 years of age to participate in classes.
