Red Ribbon Week October 23—31 The campaign is designed with all ages and regions in mind and focuses on: 

Creating an awareness of the problems related to substance abuse.

Building community coalitions to implement substance abuse prevention strategies;

Supporting substance abuse free lifestyles; and

Encouraging neighborhood prevention planning activities.

HRDC PARENTING CLASSES POSITIVE SOLUTION FOR FAMILIES ( FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN BIRTH TO AGE 5) This four session parenting workshop is designed to help parents promote positive and effective parenting behaviors, which will in turn promote children’s social and emotional development and address the challenging behavior and mental health needs of children birth to age five. These sessions are designed to give parents general information on key strategies that may be used with all children. Havre Public Schools/Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Line After-School Homework for students in grades 1-8 (3-5 pm) The Learning Center will reinforce and enhance the skills and knowledge young people learn at school during hours they spend at the Boys and Girls Club. Club staff will create opportunities for “High-yield learning activities.” Computer equipment available with priority given for homework.
