-front and the back main entrances to the house

The house seems to be divided into the front and the back. The front landscape is open with glass. Looking down from the top of the mountain, the back is mainly made of concrete wall, which forms a strong contrast with the front.

Axonometric Quality of Space

-Le Corbusier's Five Points of Architecture

The period of glass house is after Le Corbusier's Maybe she is inspired from Five Points of Architecture-Le Corbusier’s

It is evident that there are shuffle similarity between glass house and Le Corbusier’s, Especially this bulling.

plants

If a house is built on the mountain, the grass area will be reduced , so add plants to the roof to keep a little more

-California modernism

1930 - 1960 California ModernismA

The element of California modernism is particularly similar to this house

Especially by this movement are attention to indooroutdoor living, open plans, rectilinear structures often constructed with steel frames, and extensive use of glass.

-path & visual Spatial Planning and the human path

As you see there are two paths here, red path as master, green path as maids, the only common zone is the kitchen, which projected the status difference between master and maid.

Room Visual connection

The Master bedroom is separated from maid room which means that there is no any visual connection between master and maid That can increase users' privacy

site plan

Quality of space site plan

In the site plan, you can see the location chosen by the owner, which is surrounded by jungle, and at the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the scenery below the mountain.

My design assumes that users like nature

HAZEL CHING DESIGN 2A P1

Put this building back in to this place Since this place is now a tourist attraction But the surrounding plants grow very high Tourists can no longer feel the feeling of being able to look down the mountain before. So I chose a relatively empty place next to it. glass house hidden in the woods.

Quality of space

This is a platform for others to watch nature

The front platform is made of glass, just like the front of the glass house, and the rear staircase is made of concrete wall.

the position of the entrance of the stairs so that the glass part was invisible when I entered, so that there is a strong contrast between the two.

There are also stairs at the front and rear entrances

The back stairs have no view, just like the back of the glass house

As soon as one gets to the platform, there will be a beautiful unexpected view.

A platform is also raised in front, represent the Five Points of Architecture-Le Corbusier’s

Furniture can be added to this space, can stay here and enjoy
