HH: What is your definition of power?

I could laughingly reply that nature knows the best answer to this question, because nature has the greatest and ultimate power in this world. In the world of business and the leaders, the greatest power is certainly what we call charisma; self-confidence, which should not be exaggerated, narcissistic, then broad knowledge, rich experience, and finally strong smooth communication. Everything else is just a consequence.

HH: How do you think power dynamics are changing in the global landscape?

The geopolitical map of the world is changing. After several decades of greater connection and cooperation comes the time of growth of isolationism and protectionism. Every part of the world strives to become self-sufficient and less dependent on others.

This will lead to more instability in the world, especially in the underdeveloped part. As the US, EU and China are closing, there will be less and less room for the spread of economic progress, knowledge and technology to the rest of the world. The process of outsourcing production has reduced economic differences between countries and global inequality for decades. A new world, a new world order is emerging. A departure, in short, from everything that is well known to us. A period of crisis is coming for Europe, the USA, China, and the rest of the developed world. A period of famine is coming for Africa. Despite numerous donations and debt relief, progress in sub-Saharan Africa has been poor to none.

We can only accept this new power battle between the three great power centers, or continue to connect economies, promote global cooperation, trust, and business. In the Global Chamber of Business Leaders, we will definitely be on the side of the latter. Being on the side of cooperation will mean being on the side of peace, and this will be especially important in the future.

HH: What opportunities do you see in 2023 for businesses and entrepreneurs?

It's hard to see into the future. No one has a crystal ball to predict the future. In any case, global connectivity would generate trade volume as well as keep investment levels at a level that would ensure global economic growth and thus much-needed optimism. Instead, as we can see, an era of isolationism is coming.

Both people and the economy now urgently need some new optimism, and the world needs integration and cooperation. We all seem to be watching helplessly as the world changes before our eyes.

For those who know how to see opportunities, crises never exist. Opportunities must be sought in niches, perhaps in the modus operandi of a changing world. Certainly in the segments that deal with the problems of logistics, climate change, IT technology, artificial intelligence, microchips, etc.

HH: What do you think are the biggest challenges facing businesses today?

The biggest problem is definitely disruptions in supply chains that cause shortages, be it microchips, spare parts, raw materials, or energy sources, and even food. In many cases, there are no insurmountable obstacles behind these disturbances, but only speculative purchases.

Speculation drives inflation, causes constant price increases, major market disruptions, and diminishes people's purchasing power. Most of those with the lowest incomes. The time period in which we live now is therefore certainly one of the most unpredictable and complex time periods of our lifetime for most entrepreneurs.

HH: What does it take to build a powerful global organization today?

You cannot build a strong organization, the strength of the organization is always in the people who are part of the organization. In fact, people are an organization. The stronger the people, the stronger their experience, knowledge, and the more interconnected they are, the greater the strength of the organization.

Let me say that I am extremely proud of my colleagues and colleagues in the Global Chamber of Business Leaders. I am especially proud of the cooperation between them and the relationship that has become like watching a dispersed family living around the world. I have never encountered such belonging and desire to be part of something that will be a change for a better tomorrow in my life. Leading such an organization is perhaps the most beautiful and best thing that can happen to you in your life. Especially since you are surrounded by such special people.

It's just a waste of time when the world will find itself there, in recession. Perhaps the key to this will be the latest OPEC+ decision, taken a few days ago. Now we would need more cooperation, not less.

Personally, I am a supporter of development strategies that are based on the principle of sustainability performance and include solutions for nature, the economy, and society, i.e. people.

HH: What strategies do you recommend for creating sustainable success in today's economy?

As I said before, I myself am a big supporter of global economic cooperation and further integration, not protectionism and isolationism. We see that inflation, for example, is becoming a growing global problem and that the world is sliding towards recession.

If ever, it is especially important right now that strategies include sustainable initiatives that we can sovereignly support with our core capabilities, for example, knowledge, know-how, technologies, or anything else we are good at. It is necessary to create strategies in such a way as to achieve the highest possible social impact. We also need to understand the micro and macro environment in which we operate,

and we must be able to anticipate those factors that make it necessary to consolidate strategies again and again and adapt them to necessary changes. The ability to make quick decisions is more important today than ever before.

HH: What is your advice for maintaining well-being in a fast-paced and ever-changing world?

Giving from the heart, loving and being loved is probably the best advice for well-being during this turbulent time. And doing whatever relaxes someone, whatever that is. To live as everyone wants and as it makes them happy, even if it means moving away from some social patterns and norms. To seek and find inner peace, and to be truly happy, also means to live a truly full life, and that is the greatest thing, true nirvana.

HH: How do you personally maintain well-being and inner balance on a daily basis?

I have very little free time and when I do, I try to relax as much as possible. I really enjoy the moments with rare but good and true friends. I also like a good read, I enjoy watching shows about nature, especially fauna. I like good music and sometimes I just lie down and listen to music.

At this point, it would be hard for me to predict future trends, let alone for years to come. For example, in 2020, when powerful social changes began, the trends were completely different, even diametrically opposed to what they were just a year later. Years of change and adjustment are coming, I would say. I hope for years of solidarity, understanding and cooperation. If so, we will be generational winners, otherwise... we'll see.

Of course, all of the above only happens when I'm not working, but I work every day. Sometimes up to 20 hours a day. Many people warn me that I will burn out because of workaholism, but I am happy to tell them that when a person does what he would do even if he had to do it for free, he cannot burn out.

HH: What do you see as the key trends affecting business in the years ahead?

Depending on the sociological development of society, trends will also develop in the future.

HH: What do you think are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the global economy in 2023?

The greatest opportunities always come from the greatest challenges. And the challenges are what will most likely be filled with the year 2023 as well. The world economy will almost face a recession and we can only hope that there will be no outbreaks of new major conflicts around the world.

We must strive hard for this, but at the same time we must do everything to bring peace to Ukraine. There is an urgent need to bring the leaders involved in this war to the negotiating table. Urgent and immediately.

The year 2023 will therefore probably be a very unpredictable year economically.

Macroeconomists predict that at least until the middle of 2023, inflation around the world will continue to grow. I personally think that it will be a success if we manage to tame inflation at least until the end of 2023.

I personally believe that the coming years will not only be years of great challenges, but also years of great opportunities.

We don't have any major reasons to be pessimistic, so let's be optimistic and everything will be fine.

HH: What advice would you give to aspiring business leaders looking to achieve success in the years ahead?

I would advise them to live with their eyes open and their ears on the alert.

I don't even see an end to the current logistical problems. The deindustrialization of Europe is predicted. In short, the predictions for 2023 are by no means rosy. Changes are not necessarily bad, especially if we know how to anticipate them and look for opportunities in them.

In this way, they will be able to see every opportunity and hear everything that can lead them to an opportunity for success.

I would advise those who are just about to embark on the entrepreneurial journey to always be aware of the deviance of greed and to never be greedy.

I know, it's hard not to be greedy in this world of greed and selfishness, but still. Greed will eventually destroy any good opportunity and send them back to square one. Instead of the desire for quick success and money, they should rather listen to their heart and intuition, and to all those who have already walked the path they are now walking.

They should never be faced with a dilemma: Heart or money.

The Power Of Leading InAChaoticWorld

The best leaders are visionaries. Regardless of whether it is a good or bad time, they know where to lead. Most leaders have faced situations described by the acronym VUCA - Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity. As a matter of fact, what worked before will not work now. The best leaders use the context of the moment as a point of departure for their endeavors and invite others to join them. A new beginning can be found at any point in this infinite space where they play an endless game. Any further point in this space sets a new goal and a clear intention to achieve it. Take a calculated risk. Missed opportunities hurt a true entrepreneur. Treat people with dignity and respect and they will help you to succeed. Be careful what you tolerate. You are teaching people how to treat you. Find the courage to let go of what you cannot change If you cannot control what is happening, control the way to respond to what is happening. You are the only one with the power to change your thought pattern.

Nothing is permanent. Don’t stress too much because no matter how bad the situation, it will change creating new opportunities to level up. Listen to others and ask openended questions.

6. 7. It is known that successful leadership is not only about handling opportunities and challenges but also about continuously learning and sharing experience and knowledge.

I earned my PhD in physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel's leading university, and my entrepreneurship and innovation specification certificate from Harvard Business School. My recent invitation to become an Affiliate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK) and join the Forbes Business Council is proof of my achievements and has given me unique opportunities to work with and learn from world-renowned healthcare and business professionals.

In the meantime, I have started posting my daily quotes on LinkedIn, which is where I share my thoughts on business, company culture, and leadership. Almost every post I make on Linkedin receives more than 100,000 views.

True leaders never forget how far they have come, and everything they have gotten through. All the time they have pushed on even when they felt they couldn’t.

Each morning, they got out of bed regardless of how difficult it was and realized that the game had already changed. Having a permanent alignment between their perception of reality and their beliefs is essential for this. Dr. Joe Dispenza said, “The process of change requires us to go from thinking to doing to being”.

It is imperative that leaders continually learn, grow, and develop in their thinking, feelings, and actions.

I asked myself whether helping the next generation of leaders to create their own realities could level up the world. Combining my hands-on entrepreneurial experience and real-world business sense I developed a backward thinking strategy called CODERConsciousness, Opportunity, Deal, Effect and Right People.

A large number of people attend my online masterclasses. Global initiatives face challenges in leadership, practical skills, and knowledge to facilitate dialoguebased international cooperation. It is becoming increasingly essential to provide global solidarity through a new model of leadership.

By using this technique, entrepreneurs can design their own future reality with predictable results. CODER goes beyond simply setting goals and visualizing them when it comes to creating future business realities. This allows the future journey to be traced back to the starting point, sets milestones, and estimates resources needed. The key to transformation is the evolution of leadership consciousness, which is the nature of our awareness. Using this technique, conscious entrepreneurs can mitigate the black swan effect in the event of a change in the business environment.

Taking the initiative and establishing a new format for world development is an ideal challenge and excellent opportunity for a new generation of leaders.

A pivotal decision has to be made in uncertain times. In order to influence global decision-making and create an effective postpandemic leadership model, I joined the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF) as a Senator. WBAF is a leading global angel investment organization and an affiliated partner of the G20.

This is one of the most important global initiatives for business sustainability with the mission of collaborating globally, empowering economic development around the world, and fostering innovative financial instruments for startups and SMEs.

TThroughout my career as an entrepreneur and leader, I learned that the days that break you are the days that make you! As I looked through the fog of uncertainty and fears, I was able to see clearly because of the strong and clear intentions I had. A great leader is defined by his or her intention. Creating an inspiring vision, setting a measurable goal, and empowering people to achieve it is what make a chaotic world work.

Throwing some light on him, he is a young entrepreneur who has delved his hands for an IT start-up named Designistic Global Pvt. Ltd. which he started from his home.

As every business needs investment, he made a small investment of his laptop in it. He always thinks of giving jobs rather than looking for a job.

With this aim in mind, he initiated this IT start-up which is flourishing lucratively. Since the early teens, he has held a spirit of being distinguished.

At the age of 18, his arduous journey commenced. He always has been an avid learner and his quest to hunt for knowledge and innovation never let the inner him stop for new things to try.

May I introduce myself; I am James Hutchinson, the man behind the rise of CHRONEVO.com, a cosmopolitan blend of branding and marketing services, with a twist of motoring influencer, AKA Supercarbaldie. I share with you and with Business Man power Magazine my emotional but powerful story. A story that shares my perseverance and getting back up after life knocks me down, not just once but many times, and of what can be achieved with determination and energy for life. I have scaled life’s highest mountains and rejections and worked out the best means forward.

Who am I

Since childhood, I have fought with great determination to find direction. I am a creative hands-on, generally self-taught guy. Powered by my self-belief and a wish to empower people with the same. I have grown from humble beginnings, my mother a nurse, my father an aircraft mechanic and have proudly served 18 years in Her Majesty’s British forces. My interest and my passion for motoring are visible across the net. A world that has naturally been there from a very young age.

Unlocking the World

I had stepped off the plane after having completed a role in Afghanistan looking after the transportation of fuels and oils across the country. I soon started to settle into Dubai. A city of decorated skyscrapers, ports, and beaches, where big business takes place amongst the sun-seeking tourism, and slowly introducing myself to the world of business.

I became energized and inspired by such a developing country and city.Because of the large expatriate community, I then saw a future canvas where my interests and goals could flourish.

For so many years I have struggled with finding my true place in the world. Working too much and never really enjoying life, sitting back from my true interests and goals.But that all changed in March 2011.Insight and vision started to fall into place when I arrived in Dubai.

I volunteered through connection to join the Rescue team for the Abu Dhabi GP, this was a point in direction toward my goals. It was a door to a much larger world of motoring experiences yet to come. The simple yet effective process of making connections and building relationships has started my next chapter.

Being a keen photographer for much of my life. I took the chance to purchase a new DLSR camera and some basic equipment. I am in Dubai after all, and great snaps of the city are for sure greater than telephone ones. My motoring influence on the LinkedIn platform had become known to an online motoring magazine, to which I was approached and asked if I would care to share my motoring knowledge and conduct car reviews for publication.Such a pleasure to be driving some of the world’s finest cars, but it was an experience that eventually led me to commission my first online blog by the name CHRONEVO at the start of 2012 and thus the start of being a freelance photojournalist.

Success on Hold

The next steps and entrepreneurial tendencies were growing. Thankfully my persistent lifestyle maintained the pursuit of my goals. However, in June 2015 I had a little setback.

I had been diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of Lymphoma. Two weeks after this my wife and I also saw the birth of our gorgeous youngest daughter.

The following 9 months of chemo and radiotherapy, prodded, poked, and thrown in the microwave, was a fight. During this fight, I maintained my work regime still motivated to ensure that nothing stopped and life continued. But to my disappointment, my boss at the time let me go.

I had never failed in my mission, nor ever missed a day of work. Unable to find work, I used what was left of my savings to complete the treatment and pay for a family living in the UAE. Eventually, I lost a home, lost the car, and had to move to Siberia with my amazing wife and daughter. It was time to think outside of the box.

All pride and all fear of failure had faded. These things fall away when faced with death and left with only what is truly important to you.

Never lose sight of your Goals

The journey starts again, cleared of Cancer in February 2016, now living in Siberia, and with personal power levels on the up, I am ready for yet another chapter to begin. Eventually, after one year of trying, had to leave Siberia and my family behind to attempt to find work in my homeland of England.

Many small issues in immigration regulations stopped the family from coming across. However, persistence is power, and after three roles in the UK landed a role as Group Head of Marketing and Creative in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in March 2020. A chance to share my automotive love with some high-class marques such as, and not limited to RollsRoyce, Bentley, BMW, and Volvo. Fighting a toxic environment and a reducing salary owing to the Covid 19 pandemic, it came to the point I eventually had to leave, and leave I did, for the place that saved my life in a previous chapter back in 2015, back to the UAE. A risk without the work, but a risk worth taking. Sharing accommodation with a great friend, eventually work was found but in March 2021, I was hit with another mountain. This time an old case. I now fight being exploited for a large sum of money.

Founded on the mutual progress of both the UAE and me and with an empathetic mission to enhance lives and the world around us all. CHRONEVO and I are progressively becoming a big name. It’s an independent brand design studio and automotive online magazine based in the UAE that is made up of a small team of freelance humans all with a passion for creative design and motoring. I am a man of adventure, karting, Chief Rescue F1 Abu Dhabi, and motorsport driving instructor helping and encouraging people to find power in themselves and to find routes through struggle. Changing lives gradually, to live happier, prouder, and on their terms. Every individual cherishes that desire to reach the pinnacle of success. We should never lose sight of our goals, develop them yes but maintain a fundamental strategic position in life and business and then with focus stick to them.

The fight continues, and it is now 6 years separated from my family in Siberia. I completed the contract that I had for marketing and projects and stepped things up. Next chapter, I took the step to open a Freezone company with the last of my funds, CHRONEVO fze became official in June of this year.

To Close

Through all these years of trial, hardship, not being with the family, no holidays, and no weekends off, I am still thankful. It is the small experiences like driving new cars, sharing knowledge with others, seeing smiles as people walk away from a track experience, and so on, that reminds me how lucky I am.

By taking clear steps to communicate and support employees and team through change, leaders can guide the organization to success in times of VUCA, as a C-suite executive in a Non-profit Organization and a business leader in one of the largest manufacturing groups in Africa, have come to understand the impact of right leadership roadmap in chaotic world. The world is presently experiencing time of unprecedented changes with high level of uncertainty and this means we are in the VUCA world which VUCA stands for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity, this is a situation of constant, unpredictable change that is now the norm in certain industries and areas of the business world.

In times of crisis, it's natural for members of an organization or group to feel anxiety about how they will be affected by events that are unfolding.

For me, VUCA means being more agile, or flexible, in the face of change which is the order of the day. As a leader in this chaotic world, it’s important to take the time to think: Excellent leaders take the time to think through and develop a clear picture of where they want the organization to be in one, three and five years.

Staff members are going to want reassurance that leadership is doing everything within its power to resolve the situation and this is where stronger leadership engagement is critical to create an understanding about how a business got to its current state and what the consequences for its actions may be likewise aid in understanding challenges being faced and opportunities presented.

Leaders have the ability to communicate this vision in such a way that others "buy in" and eventually see the vision as belonging to them. Motivate people

to give of their best: It is the vision of the future possibilities, of what can be, that arouses emotion and motivates people to give of their best.

The most powerful vision is always qualitative, aimed at and described in terms of values and mission rather than quantitative, which is described in terms of money and numbers.

The ability to function well under pressure, and especially in a crisis is very important. Keeping your cool in a crisis means to practice patience and self-control under difficult or disappointing circumstances. From my experience the character and quality of a leader is often demonstrated in these critical moments under fire, when everyone is watching, observing and privately taking notes. "If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, then the world is yours and all that's in it" - Rudyard Kipling once said, your job as a leader is to have a clear vision of where you want to go and then to keep your cool when things go wrong, as they surely will.

The sight of Alexander charging forward excited and motivated his soldiers so much that no force on earth could stand before them and this should be our approach as leaders.

It’s 8:09AM on a Sunday morning, I just literally had my first sip of coffee; and I have been thinking a lot on the theme of CHAOS and what we encounter and experience in the world today.

I have become a massive leader and pretty much have taken off globally since the start of the pandemic a few years back. I’m from Australia and as you probably saw in the global news; we had some of the longest lockdowns backed up with an iron fist. Have a wonderful wife (Lassie) and two kids; a mortgage and a lot. I lost over 70% of my revenue as all my consulting just dried up.

My world was CHAOS incarnate and I realised to win this one, I need to be a man who can live with CHOAS and love it.

Why did these experiences turn me into a leader?

It was because I was able to successfully lead & manage myself. If I couldn’t lead myself, then obviously there is no way I can lead others.

That to me is the key here, you want to become brilliant at leading yourself. If you master yourself, people will see you doing a great job in difficult times. They will then trust you and when they speak to you asking for advice, they will love what you tell them.

Then as time passes, you would have led dozens, to hundreds, to thousands to victory in their own lives.

To help you better manage yourself, here are my own personal top 7 moves. You may not like all of them and agree with them and that is totally cool.

However / but / probably / maybe you will take one or two of them and totally love them:

Be nice to people. People love nice people.

Move on from toxic people. The more you hang out with them, the more you become them (learned this one the hard way).

Listen to and understand people’s problems, then give them advice once you’ve entered ‘their world .

Call out your own failures and mistakes. People love your rawness.

Love your friends and family and let them ‘be upset’. They aren’t upset at you, they need your love and support.

Whatever your religious or spiritual background is; go further in that direction.

Now on point 7, I am being funny here; but I do mean it. LinkedIn became my town square, and it was how I was able to expand and win big in difficult times.
