Chairperson’s Message by AnDee Harris
Happy New Year 2014! It is hard to believe that the holidays are here, I hope you had some good cheer! This is the time of year to count our blessings in our life and reflect on any sorrows we may have had and look forward to a fresh and exciting New Year. In this upcoming year for Remodelers Council we have decided to continue the Best-of-The-Best contest on a quarterly basis instead of a monthly basis. We hope to see lots of participation and we encourage everyone to start looking for those projects to submit for entry. We have great meetings and events planned and would encourage all to attend and to invite a guest! My personal goal is to provide a friendly place for new and experienced members to come and learn about different places, skills and to connect with fellow remodelers. I want Remodelers Council to be the place with a friendly face! I am looking forward to this next year and would like to wish all of you a fulfilling and successful year!
Best of the Best Custom Cabinetry
Unfortunately, there were no entries for last month’s Custom Cabinetry. Don’t forget to submit your entry for upcoming “Best of the Best” contests! The Best of the Best contest has been changed to quarterly for 2014. First quarter features kitchens, so be sure to submit your photo of a kitchen project you have done or been a part of since 2012 to the HBAL office no later than March 14, 2014 to be considered as the Best of the Best! Recognition will include a picture of the project along with your company name in the Step by Step publication and a spot on the HBAL website for three months. Projects that have won previously are ineligible.
