H.E.B. GENEROUSLY GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITIES Friends of the Library for Real County received a donation from H. E. Butt Family Foundation at the Library’s monthly board meeting held in the Library Conference Room on October 27. The H. E. Butt Family Foundation appreciates and supports the Library in its mission to provide recreational, informational, and educational materials and services to all age groups. The Library serves as the Leakey ISD Library for grades K-5 and offers eBooks as well as tablets for registered patrons. Providing services in print and electronically is an important part of knowledge transfer from one generation to the next. The H. E. Butt Family Foundation is excited to have the ability to donate to an organization which lines up with its values of serving and offering services to children of the community. “It is a privilege to give to a community which provides so much support to our mission year after year,” says Foundation Senior Director Mike Tackett.
