FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT OF ADVANCEMENT Dear Crusaders, It is with great pride and thanks that we present the 2016-2017 Annual Report. This document celebrates you, our generous donors and organizations that supported Holy Cross High School over the past school year. Thanks to your generosity, the 2016-2017 Annual Fund total came in at $616,630.00. In addition, many of you supported Holy Cross in other ways. You attended, sponsored or donated to one of our events. You bought tickets to our annual car raffle. You allowed Holy Cross to benefit while you shopped on AmazonSmile or at your local grocery store through our Reward Programs. Through your generosity, we have maintained a standard of excellence that sets Holy Cross apart from the rest. Your gifts allow us to maintain our facilities, support our faculty and purchase necessary supplies and technology. We have realized many successes over the past year. Scholars have excelled in and out of the classroom. National Merit Scholarship nominees have been named. Student-athletes have achieved state championship level status. Performers have been recognized regionally for their efforts. This past year, we saw the opening of Alumni Field, which has allowed us to offer a communal experience for our students, parents and alumni. This is only the beginning.

FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE ANNUAL FUND Dear loyal donors and supporters, We truly can’t thank you enough for all that you have given Holy Cross High School. This goes beyond dollars and cents. This is about your passionate commitment to our school and the great work that is done here on a daily basis. Whenever, the words “Annual Fund” appear in print, it creates many questions from people; the dominant one being, “What is it?” The Annual Fund supplies monies for the school’s yearly operating budget. The cost of a private school education is such that tuition and fees do not cover the total cost of educating each student. The difference is made up by gifts to the Annual Fund which is critical for the support of the school’s entire program. Holy Cross, like all other private schools, cannot be tuition-driven. Tuition costs would be unrealistic. Your gifts give us the means support financial aid and pay for enhanced technology, daily utilities, new coats of paint on our common areas, office furniture, classroom supplies, professional development and athletic equipment, among many other items. Every gift truly makes a difference, regardless of size.
