v Class Reunions (see inside for dates)

Please remember in your prayers, Mrs. Erma Cronan who passed away on July 10, 2008. Mrs. Cronan was the Assistant to the President at Holy Cross for 20 years. She will be missed.

Funds from our annual giving campaign (The Holy Cross Fund) help maintain the day-to-day excellence that sets Holy Cross apart from so many other schools. A generous alumni has offered a Challenge for this year’s Holy Cross Fund. If our annual giving from all other donors reaches $250,000, we will receive a match of $250,000. This 40th Anniversary Challenge is designed to build institutional capacity by broadening and deepening the base of support from all our constituents. Whether you have recently given, given in the past, or you are considering a first time gift to the Holy Cross Fund, this is a wonderful opportunity to give back to Holy Cross. Look for more information about this year’s Holy Cross Fund and the Anniversary Challenge.

40th Anniversary Green and Gold Gala The Green and Gold Gala is our annual auction dinner dance sponsored by our parent clubs and supported by the Advancement Office. This year’s event will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the school and will be held on Saturday, March 21 at the Aqua Turf in Southington, CT. For this 40th Anniversary celebration we hope to welcome more than 800 people and have a live and silent auction second to none. We are hoping to have at least one table from each graduating class. It is not too early to reserve a table. Also, we will be seeking donations as auction items as well as providing sponsorship opportunities. More information will be available soon. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE. The real celebration is in the lives of the many young men and women who have passed through these halls and the lives of those who have yet to come. There is nothing more important than securing the future of Holy Cross and the very special experience that is an Education in the Holy Cross Tradition. Please watch for news of different events that will celebrate the past and welcome the future and continue to support us in our efforts to make Holy Cross “Different Where It Counts.”
