Office Hours 10am-12pm: Drop-in 1pm-4pm: By Appointment Location: ECC
Every Wednesday
Amanda coordinates business services for the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative (HCPLC), helping connect small businesses and entrepreneurs to library and community resources. Although she likes to joke that she is an ironic librarian because she has such a loud voice, Amanda is passionate about public librarianship and its role in building the community. In her role as a Business Resource Librarian she hopes to help make people aware of all the great library resources available for personal development and community prosperity. Amanda is bilingual in English/Spanish and holds a Masters in Library Science (MLS) from the University of Maryland, College Park. One of Amanda’s hobbies is reading, naturally, but this Midwestern native is also a travel enthusiast who lived in Boston, Washington, D.C., and Madrid, Spain before moving to Tampa.
Need demographic statistics for a business plan? Are you stumped by market research? Looking for competitor analysis? Stop by the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC) on Wednesdays to speak with an onsite librarian about free services and resources to help you develop your business. You can get connected to tech help, research assistance, and digital collections.
