TELL YOUR BUSINESS STORY
Storytelling is a powerful technique for establishing and building relationships. You have an opportunity to draw devoted customers by rethinking the way you express your business values and brand. Here are a few tips to easily implement in your next presentation or client meeting.
#1: Establish context
#3: Provide takeaways
Stories should have a clear outcome and reason for telling. What lesson was learned and what are actionable points for your audience?
#4: Practice!
Immediately set the scene for your audience. Where and when is the story taking place, who's involved, and what are the challenges?
Know the details of your story before you present in person or post it online. Ensure any marketing materials (logos, colors, fonts) are consistent with your message and brand.
#2: Always be authentic
#5: Revisit and revise
Don't be afraid to discuss prior setbacks and demonstrate how your business persevered. Be transparent with things made or managed in your company.
Your story isn't stagnant. Each day it will change or shift. Continue to add new chapters to its evolving story! Business Byte | 3
