At Hull College, we are dedicated to helping you make the most of your study and free time. throughout your time with us. Our Hull campus is at the heart of the UK City of Culture 2017, offering a range of lively events and plenty of opportunities while you are here. Just a stones-throw away is the bustling city centre, where you can find a variety of brand and independent stores, restaurants, cafĂŠs and bars. We look forward to welcoming you to the Hull College community in September.


Arts &Culture

Home of William Wilberforce, Hull boasts culture and history. With a thriving arts scene and architecture dating back to the 16th century, Hull is a hive of creativity. Visit a variety of museums and art galleries or take a trip to The Deep aquarium.


Music & Nightlife

Hull has a rich music scene that has produced fantastic underground artists as well as internationally famous musicians. Whether it’s a laidback evening in a bar or a loud night in a club, Hull’s diverse range of bars, pubs and clubs offer you a number of choices.


Life & work experience There are many opportunities to gain work experience and enrich your student life while studying at Hull College. Join the team at the on-site restaurant or hair and beauty salon, or volunteer at one of the many festivals hosted in Hull.

For those wanting to get in touch with nature, Hull is on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful natural areas in the country. Get a quick train ride to the Yorkshire Moors or the seaside for a different day out.

Students’ Union

On Campus

Dedicated to benefiting students, the Student Union is elected from the student body and there to listen to what you have to say. The SU holds a range of events throughout the year, where you can take part in social activities, join societies and find out more about what you can look forward to while studying at Hull College.

Hull College Group’s Student Union will be there throughout your education on the campus, organising events and providing you with a voice both locally and nationally.

NUS The SU is affiliated with the National Union of Students (NUS), a voluntary membership organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of students and its member students’ unions. Being a member of the NUS allows our students access to exclusive offers and discounts.

Student Support

At Hull College, we want to support you through every step in class and out of it. The College boasts an impressive standard of facilities to enhance your learning, such as industry standard design and performance studios, as well as construction workshops, engineering hubs and computing suites.

Student Services We strive to provide you with the highest levels of support and guidance throughout your time with us. The Information, Advice & Guidance team are here to assist you in things like travel, finance or working while studying. We also have our own counselling service if you need that bit of extra support.

HE Centre The HE Centre provides students with a dedicated area for private or group study. It is also home to the College library with collections of books, journals, CDs, DVDs and newspaper archives to assist with your work.

Computer Suites The campus also has a range of electronic resources and internet facilities to support your learning at Hull College.

Childcare The College has its own on-site Childcare Centres to enable students with young children to study. All staff are fully qualified practitioners who provide care and activities for your child in an Ofsted approved facility while you are at the library or in class.
