“Uppercabinetswerereplacedwithopen, floating shelvesofbutcherblocksalvagedfromthekitchenofa renownedrugdesigner,”Careysaid.“Thesamebutcher blockwasusedonthebarcounter,addingwarmth.

“Themoderncabinetswerecustomdesignedby RingsEndinDarienandincludedishdrawers,slide-outs forpotsandpans,andswing-outshelvingtomakeuse ofallspace,”hecontinued.“Thecountertopsarehoned quartz,withthesofttextureandcoloroffreshcement.
