Easter Egg Hunt: A FREE Easter Egg Hunt is offered to the children of Wood River residents ages toddler thru 4th grade. There will be over 120 dozen eggs hidden, along with some special prizes to be awarded to those finding special eggs. Each child will also receive a bag of ca ndy from the Easter Bunny. Prizes are donated by Wood River Area Merchants. Be sure to bring your camera!

Youth League Parade: Come on out and enjoy the opening day for the youth league. The annual Youth League Parade will be held at the beginning of the season. This parade consists of all youth league baseball/softball participants, Tri-City and Wood River Instructional League. Call 251-3130 for more information.

Fishing Clinic: A FREE fishing clinic will be offered during the summer at Belk Park. There will be a morning session from 9:00-11am & an afternoon session 1:00-3:00pm. Call the Round House for more information, 2513130

Bike Ramble: Bring your kids for a safe and exciting family night bike ride. Wood River Parks & Recreation is co-sponsoring the 14th Annual Bike Ramble on June 9, 2023. The route begins and ends at the Round House. The lineup is at 7:00 pm and the ride will start at 7:30pm. Once participants complete the bike ride refreshments will be offered at the Round House. Register at the Round House. Fee: $3 per person/ $ 6 per immediate family. Call 251-3130 for more information.

Ice Cream Social

Beat the heat this summer by partaking in our Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Wood River Parks & Recreation is co-sponsoring with the Women’s Club for the Ice Cream Social at Central Park. Call 251-3130 for more information.

Breakfast With Santa : Join us at the Round House for 39th annual Breakfast with Santa and get into the Christmas spirit. Each br eakfast includes pancakes, sausages, milk, juice and coffee. Adult and child plates are available for purchase. The children have the chance to have their picture taken with Santa for free. No reservations are re quired. Date: Saturday, December 9, 2023. Time: 8:00-10:00 a.m.

FALL/WINTER GYMNASTICS: This is a great way to improve your child’s strength and coordination levels. The program an eight-week session. Class held from August through May, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. Classes offered are:

• Parent & Tot: 2yrs-3yrs

• Early Gymnastics: 4yrs-5yrs

• Beginners Gymnastics: 6yrs & Older

• Advance Gymnastics: 6yrs & Older

• Tumbling: 6yrs & Older

Registration begins in Aug.

Belk Park Golf Course

Take your best shots at Belk

The golf course season officially opens April 1st and ends October 31st. Play continues throughout the fall and winter seasons, weather permi tting. Belk Park offers tee reservations seven days a week. On weekends, tee times are available from 6:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. On weekdays, tee times are available from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Call Belk Park at 251-3115 for more information or visit www.belkpark.com
