JINGLE BELL
GIFT WRAP WITH GHIRLANDA DI POPCORN
You need: Little bells Wrapping paper Christmassy cardboard tag Baker’s twine Scissors Tape
Wrap your package up with a stripped wrapping paper, scissors and tape. Thread the bells into the twine switch between red and white bells. Tie a knot to fix the bells as a jingle bell. Wrap the baker’s twine around the package and do a knot. Thread a christmassy tag into the twine and do another knot to fix it. Cut the excess twine. Insert the ‘jingle ball’ under the package twine and do two knots to fix the ball over the tag and over the knot made before. Cut the excess twine leaving a few inches as decoration and that’s it!
Cupcake Stand
You Will Need: Wooden Candlestick Wooden Disk Glue Paint (Not pictured Brush (not pictured) Assorted trims (not pictured)
Grab a pencil and a ruler and draw a cross on the understide of your disk. The cross will help you to centre the candlestick when you’re glueing!
I drew around the candlestick to give me a rough guide when I was going to be adhering them together. The glue was wet enough to move the disk around until it was centred.
Get glueing! If you flip your cupcake stand up, you will know immediately if your disk is off centre as it will lilt on its own. I was able to wiggle the disk until it was completely centred. I flipped it back around and pressed down to ensure the glue adhered properly. I grabbed some chalk paint for my first stand, the second stand (pictured in the first image above), was painted using pearl pink paint by docrafts. After your paint dries, you will need to sand any rough brush strokes and then wax or varnish. Now is the time to choose your favourite trims and glue them around the edge of the disk.
