H2H Lifeline Life Line to encourage your everyday life! Fear or Faith? In today's world we all face fear right? But who can overcome fear? How does that happen? By trusting in God, and in the word of God. What does it say? That faith can move mountains & truly it does. Mark 4:40 And he said unto them Why are you so fearful how is it ye have no faith. With God fear should not exist Fear is something the devil tries to get you to fall but we need focus on God See the Lord wants you to be overgrown with faith so stop and think fear or faith? Palms 23:4-5 Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will not fear no evil; for thou art with me thou prepares me a table for me in the presence of mine enemies thou anointed my head with oil my cup ren-
net over. When the season was over & we gave out 4000 bears that's when Satan tried to knock me down with computer crashing to car breaking down & needing half of a Motor . So here is what I did after a day of no answer I Called on the Lord & relied on total faith Like the Lord said faith can move mountains & after those things started to come together. My question to you is do you Do that when life gets shaky When it gets shaky or trails hit. You got to trust in god & know your faith is there that is why I counted on faith & everything was coming together for the ministry & myself. John 14:12 Jesus said I tell you the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what I been doing He will do even greater things
then these because I'm going to the father. So when car breaks down computer crashes you better grab that Rope of faith & pull yourself up. Mathew 17; 20 Jesus said I tell you the truth if you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to the mountain, Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. So to put it strait the way Jesus teaches us Faith Not Fear Everything we do here in the Ministry Pastor Miller Pastor Williams does it with faith. Look at what Jesus Tried to show Peter When Jesus was on the Water Jesus wanted Him to learn how to be strong in his faith the minute Peter took His eyes off Jesus. What Happened to Peter He Fell into the Water the Question is do you want to fall in or do you want

to walk on Water?? Rev Williams. Winter Thoughts for Elderly If you are up there in age do not be prideful & shovel let someone younger shovel your walkway. I know someone who at the age of 50 went out and shoveled snow, and they had a massive heart attack. The elderly are more at risk. And those who are younger please check on the elderly in a storm if the elderly loose electric they will not go elsewhere they have more pride then we do so we want them to be safe so check on them see that they have proper heat & make sure they do not have a generator in the House Make sure Elderly always have Emergency kit Emergency water Emergency Food as we get older we forget I know I do already so be there to help them in a snow storm As a Chaplain on the Emergency response team This is one thing that we train our Teams on. Rev. Williams
Fear itself - What is its origin?
man's alienation from God. The first mention or manifestation of fear in the Bible was from the first man, Adam. While in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had been given a command by the Lord to refrain from eating the fruit of the tree in the midst of the Garden. The serpent, Satan, deceived them and caused them to disobey God. As a result they became afraid and hid from God. Genesis 3:8-10 shares the account, "Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, 'Where are you?' He answered, 'I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.'" The root of so many fear-based thoughts is this alienation between God and man. When man sinned, he no longer enjoyed the close, intimate, loving fellowship with God as at the beginning. Fear of punishment, insecurity, dread of evil events, anticipation of loss all stem from the lost relationship to God and the covering that comes from His loving protection. Inherently, sin makes man feel that he is undeserving of any good from the hand of the Lord and is therefore vulnerable to all kinds of bad things.
Fear is defined as, "an unpleasant feeling of apprehension or distress caused by the presence or anticipation of danger."1 But what is the origin of this unpleasant feeling fear itself?
Rising also out of the enmity between God and man is the feeling of inadequacy that generates all kinds of fears and is a direct cause of unbelief. Faith and fear cannot be present at the same time. When we trust in the promises of God, we are not afraid.
The ultimate basis for all fear is
After the Children of Israel had
crossed the Red Sea and continued on their journey towards the Promised Land, the land flowing with milk and honey that God had promised to them, they came to Kadesh Barnea. Moses sent twelve spies to spy out the land of Canaan and ten of them came back with this report: Numbers 13:31 says, "But the men who had gone up with him said, 'We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are.'" Though the children of Israel had received the promise that God would give them the Land of Canaan and had led them through the Red Sea and had promised to be with them, they still feared. They felt inadequate to tackle the "giants" in the land and, rather, forfeited the promise. What was the origin of their fear? The Bible gives us a very clear answer. It was their unbelief and it caused them to fail to enter the Promised Land. Hebrews 3:19 says, "So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief." Sin and unbelief working in the life of any person will promote fear and alienation. As a result, there is torment and rebellion and the reaping of the displeasure of God. Read the Following: Hebrews 11:6 2 Timothy 1:7 1 John 4:18 Rev. Miller

The senior Talk Line was started in the beginning of 2016. Founded by Rev. Daniel Miller. Heart to Heart Ministries is a 501 3c Non Profit . The ministry works with hospitals and nursing homes to not only bring the word of God to those who have been forgotten, lonely, and depressed but to provide comfort. Over those 7+ years Rev. Miller noticed time and time again that the people he has met along his journey have been left in the hospitals, nursing homes or left in a small apartment with absolutely no one to talk to. This is a major problem not only in the State of Michigan, Kentucky, Alabama, and Ohio but all over the world.
For more information, to sponsor us, or volunteer please email: Dmiller@h2hmin.com
“I will always remember our first call taken on the Senior Talk Line. I had answered the phone with one of our friendly greetings and in return was told I AM DYING. That night I spent over 2 hours on the phone talking with someone who not only was scared of the future but also who was alone and had no one else to talk to about what was going on. Since then our first caller calls back once a week and has been doing well not only emotionally but in her health. She has Hope and a friend she knows is just a call away. “ Daniel Miller ~Program Director
We are a small group of volunteers who want to see nothing more than the smile on the face of the seniors we come in contact with no matter where we are or how we come in contact. It's about doing the right thing and being there for those who have no one else. We are a small call center planned to have 6 phone lines and a small office based out of Lexington, KY where Pastor Miller lives and works. Our hours may vary based on availability of volunteers and office hours which will be posted. Aside from our call center our web site will have a chat option on it for those who are more technically inclined. It is with a good heart that we move forward in taking care of the elderly in our communities. We may be a small start but it's the small things that can make a big difference in someone's life.

SENIOR ABUSE Does someone you know—a senior or adult with a disability—display any warning signs of mistreatment?
WHO IS AT RISK? Elder abuse can occur anywhere – in the home, in nursing homes, or other institutions. It affects seniors across all socio-economic groups, cultures, and races. Based on available information, women and “older” elders are more likely to be victimized. Dementia is a significant risk factor. Mental health and substance abuse issues – of both abusers and victims – are risk factors. Isolation can also contribute to risk.
Neglect • Lack of basic hygiene, adequate food, or clean and appropriate clothing • Lack of medical aids (glasses, walker, teeth, hearing aid, medications) • Person with dementia left unsupervised • Person confined to bed is left without care • Home cluttered, filthy, in disrepair, or having fire and safety hazards • Home without adequate facilities (stove, refrigerator, heat, cooling, working plumbing, and electricity) • Untreated pressure “bed” WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I SUSPECT ABUSE? sores (pressure ulcers) Report your concerns. WHAT IS ELDER ABUSE? In general, elder abuse refers to intentional or neglectful acts by a caregiver or “trusted” individual that lead to, or may lead to, harm of a vulnerable elder. In many states, younger adults with disabilities may qualify for the same services and protections. Physical abuse; neglect; emotional or psychological abuse; financial abuse and exploitation; sexual abuse; and abandonment are considered forms of elder abuse. In many states, selfneglect is also considered mistreatment.

BANKING SAFETY TIPS… It is important to keep your hard-earned money safe. Whether you are concerned about online banking security or the traditional banking security threats, you can educate yourself about the risks. Personal Identification Number (PIN) PIN numbers are security features that are important to keep your money and your information safe. Picking a good PIN number and remembering it is important. Memorize your PINs; do not write them down: Use a friend‘s phone number, dates, or spell a word with corresponding numbers like those on your phone. Safe Banks and FDIC Coverage Some people only want to work with the safest banks. Even with FDIC insurance, bank failures can be a hassle. By sticking to the safest banks, you reduce the likelihood of any headaches, delays, or name changes on your statements. FDIC coverage can be complex. It is important that you keep all of your money insured in case your bank goes under. Shop around for a bank before you open an account and ask many questions regarding their FDIC coverage. Bank Scams What's a bank scam? It occurs when you‘re online and somebody asks you to ―update your account information‖ - don‘t even think twice. It‘s a scam 99% of the time. Do not give personal information, such as account numbers or Social Security numbers over the telephone, through the mail, or over the Internet -- unless you initiated the contact or know with whom you are dealing. Keep Records of Your Accounts Carefully check and update records pertaining to all your accounts, do this at least monthly to catch any errors or attempts at fraud or identity theft. Report any discrepancies right away. Read banking information and be alert to any changes in fees for services. Comparison shop for banking and financial services and be aware of the total cost of conveniences and services. Checks Have new checks delivered to your bank, not your home address. Identity thieves think they've hit the
jackpot when they find a box of checks in a mailbox. Put as little information as you can on your checks. Never put your Social Security number on them, and use a post office box instead of a physical address if possible. Debit Cards Debit cards look like credit cards but automatically and immediately withdraw money from your account. Debit cards can be used to pay for purchases or to get money from an ATM. Acquaint yourself with the limits of protection if your card is lost or stolen. A debit card may offer less protection than a credit card if items purchased are never delivered or defective. However, you may dispute unauthorized charges or other errors within 60 days. Contact the card issuer if a problem can‘t be resolved with the merchant. Be sure to notify your card issuer right away if the card is lost or stolen, doing so gains you increased protection. Check with your card issuer about your liability. Online/ Internet Banking Use caution with online/ Internet banking which allows you to transfer money between accounts and to view account information at anytime. Internet payment is faster than writing and snail mailing checks and it is convenient for many people, yet you must monitor the account often to be aware of any errors or attempts at fraud. Adequate computer software protection is a must to protect financial information from thieves. To learn more about this protection, consult any computer store. Never, ever click on a link from any business that asks for your personal information. The best way is to immediately delete any suspicious mail and inform your financial institution. Remember prevention is always better than cure. Other online banking safety tips: Keep your paperwork up-to-date including minor details. Remember no reputable business firm will ask for your personal information via a link to their site. If your bank uses a watermark or some other personal image, do not log in unless you see the correct information.

Every morning we wake up and listen to the world shouting its troubles. We open our laptops, our front doors, and our newspapers, and the weight of tragedy and evil land heavily. How could anyone not be afraid? But living afraid is limiting. Rather than reaching out, we pull our energy in to protect ourselves from every threat — real or perceived. With this mindset, it is impossible to show the selfless, generous love Jesus models for us. When you feel overcome with fear, read these 10 scriptures — and remember the promises God makes — to help you live free from fear:
1. Psalm 118:6 2. Hebrews 13:6 3. Deuteronomy 5:5 4. Romans 8:15 5. Proverbs 3:21, 23-24 6. Isaiah 12:2 “7. Matthew 10:29-31 8. Isaiah 8:11-12 9. Matthew 14:27 10. John 14:27
