Veronica accidentally killing Ram.
Veronica at end of film.
“Are You a Heather?”
“No. I’m a Veronica.” Our protagonist Veronica Sawyer, hates her friends. It is not until she meets a new boy at school, J.D. (an atypical misanthrope) that she decides to do something about it. Veronica is first attracted to J.D.’s refuting attitude towards high school’s in-crowd. But, later she realizes that his agenda involves murder and takes matters into her own hands. Veronica has the perfect amount of cynicism that hides her deep longing for her “high school to just be a safe place.” This draws us to Veronica because she is not all that remorseful of accidentally killing off Heather Chandler and Ram (the asshole quarterback), only until she realizes how crazed J.D. is and that his intentions are too dark for her.
