LATIN AMERICAN ART: CLASSIC TO CONTEMPORARY
(Palm Desert, CA)—December 20, 2008—Heather James Fine Art announces a new exhibition Latin American: Classic to Contemporary, which opens Thursday, January 22, 2009 with an opening reception from 6-8. p.m. RSVP by calling 760.346.8926. The exhibition, representing a breadth of expression from the historical to the new, will celebrate a diverse selection of Latin American artists from Chilean abstractionist, Roberto Matta, to Puerto Rican neo-Impressionist, Arnaldo RocheRabell. Utilizing a wide variety of techniques and inspired by many traditions, other artists include Fernando Botero, Osvaldo Budet, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Wifredo Lam, Cristina Lei Rodriguez, Carlos Luna and Melvin Martinez.
Heather James Fine Art is an 8,500 square foot gallery located at 45-188 Portola Avenue in Palm Desert and featuring a wide array of art ranging from Impressionist and Modern art to Post-War and Contemporary, American, Latin American, Old Master, Photography and Design.
