Lester Marks, Houston-based collector of contemporary art and President of LCM Partners Ltd., has been listed as a top 200 collector by ARTnews Magazine and among the “Top 100 Art Collectors Making a Difference in the Art World� by Arts & Antiquities Magazine. He has also served as a trustee for the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston. Preferring the term curator over collector, Marks often welcomes guests to his home to share his collection of more than 700 artworks by world-renowned contemporary artists as well as local artists working in Houston and the surrounding region.
