HARVEST ON THE COAST LIVE AUCTION LOTS 2015 1. PRESIDENT’S LOT: TOAST THE COAST ANYWHERE IN THE U.S. WITH THE TALLEY’S Donated by Brian and Johnine Talley of Talley Vineyards
• Dinner for Two Couples with Brian & Johnine Talley anywhere in the Continental USA • Magnum of 2013 Talley Vineyards Rosemary’s Vineyard Pinot Noir A rare retreat awaits you and your guests as you dine with Brian & Johnine Talley, owners of Talley Vineyards! It’s your pick—the Talley’s will host your group of four at any restaurant in the Continental United States! Plus, enjoy an autographed magnum of 2013 Rosemary’s Vineyard Pinot Noir. Special thanks to Brian Talley, our SLO Wine Country Board President! For three generations the Talley family has farmed in Coastal San Luis Obispo County. The tradition began in 1948 when Oliver Talley founded Talley Farms and started growing specialty vegetables in the Arroyo Grande Valley. During the 1970s extensive planting of wine grapes began in the neighboring Edna Valley and Santa Barbara County areas. After observation and extensive analysis, Oliver’s son, Don Talley, was convinced of the potential to grow high quality chardonnay and pinot noir on the steep hillsides above Talley Farms. Don planted a small test plot in 1982 on the west hillside of the Rincon Vineyard that included Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Over time the varietal and clonal selections were refined and planting expanded to a total of 190 acres in the Arroyo Grande and Edna Valleys. Talley Vineyards produced its first wine in 1986 with the production of 450 cases. The winery’s first five vintages were produced in a small winery adjacent to one of Talley Farms’ vegetable coolers. In the fall of 1991, a winery was completed at the foot of the Rincon Vineyard. A 12,000 square foot barrel and case goods storage building was added in 2000, followed by a new tasting room in 2002. Talley Vineyards currently produces about 36,000 cases annually. Brian and Johnine Talley own and operate Talley Vineyards, while Brian, Todd, Ryan and Rosemary Talley manage Talley Farms.
The Rosemary’s Vineyard Pinot Noir is highly sought-after by wine aficionados, and at one time in the not too distant past the grapes were highly sought after by vintners desiring to have the Talley Rosemary’s Vineyard designation on their Pinot Noir. Just think of ALL the ultra-fine restaurants available in the United States, and then imagine that you are choosing the one that you have ALWAYS wished to enjoy, and then fully comprehend that you will be doing so with Brian and Johnine. It does not get any better than what you are about to experience! Lot Restrictions: The dinner must be on a mutually agreed date; Dinner compliments of Brian Talley; airfare and accommodations not included.

3. HANDCRAFT YOUR OWN BARREL WITH KELSEY SEE CANYON WINEMAKER JAC JACOBS Donated by the Kelsey Family and local artist Colleen Gnos
• Handcraft one barrel of wine (approximately 24 cases) with Kelsey See Canyon Winemaker Jac Jacobs
• Custom label for handcrafted wine provided by local artist Colleen Gnos Do you dream of sipping your very own vintage or learning the process of winemaking from grape crushing to having a label created by a renowned artist specifically for your wine? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Harvest behind the scenes and craft your own barrel of Pinot Noir with local winemaking expert, Jac Jacobs of Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards. You will be involved in every aspect of winemaking, including grape crushing and processing; barreling; tasting and/or blending and bottling. Local artist, Colleen Gnos, will custom craft your own private label for your wines. One barrel yields up to 24 cases which equals 288 bottles of Pinot Noir. What began as a retirement project back in 1999 has blossomed into a full time labor of love for Dick and Dolores. Along with renowned winemaker Jac Jacobs, the Kelsey Family is hands on in all areas of the business. The winery property grows our Estate Chardonnay grapes as well as Pinot Noir. Probably the hardest part out of all the work is cleaning up after the peacocks. There are over 130 peacocks on our Family Ranch and more babies born every year. Besides producing many medal-winning wines, Kelsey See Canyon also draws as much attention for hard ciders and cider-wine blends done with apples that once covered the valley. Winemaker Jac Jacobs has worked in the wine industry for more than 32 years. His experience has covered both the North Coast wine region (21 harvests) and the Central Coast wine region (11 harvests). His specialties are wines that are true to varietal character, full-bodied red wines with a smooth balance of tannins, dry fruity white wines, along with sparkling wines and ports. He has produced numerous gold medal wines in his career, one of which was selected and served at the White House
for a presidential state dinner. Many of the Sauvignon Blancs that he has made have been consistently rated the best in the world. Over his career he has had the opportunity to work with some of the legends of the wine industry such as Andre Tcheischeff, John Parducci, Bob Iantosca and Michael Topolos. From them he has developed a passion for producing high quality wines. Colleen’s life experiences and passion for the ocean are embedded in every single piece of art she creates, even if the canvas is sixty feet or just sixty inches. Each piece of art tells a story. She concentrates on her own “classic” themes: surfing, classic California beach life and sirens. The powerful female entities she creates represent freedom and humankind’s longing to return to the sea, uniting the conscious (human torso) with the subconscious (mermaid’s tail). Using a technique that combines tonal painting and glazing, she gives her sirens and surfers depth and movement, and her waves the clarity of stained glass by building up the surface
with many layers of glazes. Colleen has dedicated herself to living as a hard-working full-time artist, mom and surfer on the Central Coast of California. Her art can be found on canvas, walls, surfboards and public art projects within 3 different states. Lot restrictions: Dates for crushing and processing to be determined by winemaker, date subject to availability and must be agreed upon by all parties.

Oysters, desserts, and of course Chamisal wines! At the end of the night, your limo will be waiting to escort you back to Dolphin Bay! In 1973 Chamisal became the first winery to plant vines in Edna Valley, a gamble that paved the way for one of the most revered wine regions of California. Our Central Coast vineyard is named for the native, white-flowered Chamise plant that thrives on the property. In the early 1990’s after a period of dormancy, the vineyard was replanted and the estate was renamed Domain Alfred, but when we took ownership in 2008 we restored the original name – Chamisal Vineyard – to honor its place in Edna Valley history. Now planted to five grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Syrah and Pinot Gris, this exceptional estate vineyard is the centerpiece, source and inspiration of Chamisal’s bold and distinctive wines. Offering world-class service and stunning ocean views, Dolphin Bay Resort in Shell Beach is the ideal resort for romantic getaways or family vacations where guests stay anywhere from two nights to months at a time. Named one of the best resorts by US & News report, the beauty of the Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa goes undisputed. The backdrop against the jagged Pacific Ocean coastline is breathtaking yet soothing. Dates must be agreed upon by Chamisal and Dolphin Bay. Availability of the helicopter is subject to the company’s schedule. The company provides emergency firefighting services and is “on call” during the peak fire season (June through October). If unavailable on desired date, the winning bidder may take the helicopter ride on a different day or the $2,000 may be donated to a charity of the winning bidder’s choice.
9. LARGE AND IN CHARGE WITH TOLOSA Donated by Tolosa Winery
• Etched and hand-painted 5L of 2012 Tolosa “1772” Pinot Noir • Three-month honorary wine club membership to Tolosa Winery Tolosa’s vineyards are located between Santa Barbara and Paso Robles, in the coastal hills of San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley. Our goal is to make balanced wines that are true to varietal character and expressive of the cooling ocean breezes and long growing season that define our estate vineyards. We chose “1772”, the year our local Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa was founded as the name for our best sections of Continued....
our estate vineyard. Each vintage our winemaker tastes every barrel in the cellar searching for those rare instances when the wine and the barrel have achieved perfect balance. The harmony created by this process allows the unique regional character to emerge. After the very small 2010 and 2011 vintages, it was a relief to harvest the normal sized 2012. The weather was dry and mild throughout the growing season. The vintage came to full maturity without disease or damage. This blend came from almost equal amounts of wine from our Mountainside and Winery Vineyards. Slightly more than a third of it is Pommard selection and the balance split between D667 and D115 clones. The seed count of the berries was much lower than normal leading to a softer tannin profile. The mid-80s were the last time that Tolosa was able to make wines with such supple tannins as the 2012 vintage. The color is a classic medium red. This wine’s primary fruit aroma is akin to cherry and plum. There are supporting aromas of earth and a dry cinnamon like spice. The textures in the mouth are unusually fine with a plump ripeness offset with velvety tannin. Combined with a complimentary three-month wine club membership, you’ll experience all the perks of being in the Tolosa Wine Club, including a private tour for up to four guests, an invitation to an exclusive wine club event for two guests, 20% off wine purchases and complimentary tasting for three months for two guests.
10. SIPPIN’ IN SHELL BEACH Donated by Edward and Bluma Felix and Greg and Pamela Martin of Seven Angels Wine Cellars
• T wo night stay for one couple in seaside Shell Beach home • Tasting & tour with Pamela & Greg Martin from Seven Angels Cellars • Dinner with Pamela & Greg Martin featuring wines from Seven Angels Cellars SLO Wine Country has teamed up with one of our long-time supporters in a sea-side, sunset filled weekend getaway in Shell Beach. Dr. Edward and Bluma Felix have transformed their beach bungalow into a show-stopping, indoor-outdoor space tailor-made for entertaining. Tucked away in their newly designed home by the beach, follow the artfully landscaped pathway to their secluded guest house, which includes not only a guest suite, but a kitchen area large enough for dining, or even impromptu games of ping pong. A glass wall slides open to connect the guest house with one of many small patios and conversation areas scattered throughout the yard, with benches surrounding a contemporary fire glass fire pit. In another spot, two hammocks, strung between poles, anchor a secluded meditation garden. And then there is the couple’s favorite area: a deck atop the guest house roof that offers one of the property’s best ocean views. A boardwalk leading to it is lined with dune grasses. When the fire pit is lit, it has the ambience of a beach bonfire. There’s also a
bocce ball and volleyball court. During your stay, you’ll be treated to a private winemaker dinner with Greg and Pamela Martin, proprietors and winemaker of Seven Angels Cellars, one of SLO Wine Country’s new members. Pamela Martin will be your guest chef and will prepare a wine-paired dinner during your stay. Pamela was a guest chef on a TV cooking show in the late 70’s and rubbed elbows with celebrities like Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood. Pamela taught cooking classes as well and grew to view cooking as a form of relaxation, creativity and therapy. She enjoys cooking for family and friends, inviting them into her kitchen and would much rather stay at home and eat in than eat at a restaurant. The marriage of Greg and Pamela is the perfect balance, as Greg is the winemaker and Pamela is the cook of the house! Seven Angels wine Cellars began as a result of passion. Passion for doing something that is rewarding and brings satisfaction, personally and to the ones we share life with. The fruit we source to make our wines comes from the finest vineyards from the central coast and Edna Valley. The winemaking and barrel program we employ is integral to the outcome: delicious, food friendly, people pleasing wines. Lot Restrictions: Dates must be agreed upon by all parties. Package available from January 2016 through March 15, 2016.

12. THE BIG KAHUNA OF PINOT NOIR Donated by SLO Wine Country Members listed and local artist Candice Norcross
• Nebuchadnezzar Collaborative Blend of 2013 Pinot Noir from SLO Wine Country • Commemorative Harvest on the Coast Etching by Candice Norcross • Blend of Pinot Noir Produced by Eric Hickey, Winemaker, Laetitia Vineyard & Winery The 2013 vintage marked the second abundant harvest within San Luis Obispo Wine Country and the second year of the California drought. Dry conditions in the spring at bloom time afforded excellent fruit set and these ideal growing conditions continued throughout the summer and fall with no rain during harvest. This classic crew helped establish winemaking back in the day and includes winemakers Christian Roguenant (Niven Family Wines), Jean-Pierre Wolff (Wolff Vineyards), Steve Dooley (Stephen Ross), Mike Sinor (Sinor-LaVallee) and Jac Jacobs (Kelsey See Canyon). Winemaker Christian Roguenant was born to wine. A native of the Burgundy region of France, he decided early on to become a winemaker. Schooled at the University of Dijon, he earned not only a degree in Oenology, but also a Certificate of Marketing for Wine and Spirits. Dangerously over-educated even then, Christian’s insatiable thirst for novel methods led him to make wine in countless countries spread over five different continents. He came to the Arroyo Grande Valley in 80’s as the sparkling winemaker at Maison Duetz, now known as Laetitia Winery. When the Niven family decided to build a new winery in 1998 they gave a blank slate to Roguenant to design the winery of his dreams. Christian delights in selecting among the handpicked fruit from both the Paragon Vineyard and the Firepeak Vineyard. For Jean-Pierre Wolff, owner of Wolff Vineyards in Edna Valley, conservation and sustainability require more than just being in harmony with nature, and he has spent considerable time and dollars on everything from protecting historic vines to improving water flow for steelhead trout to creating a turtle refuge and bird sanctuary. His 125-acre property includes 55 acres of Chardonnay and 37 acres of Pinot Noir grapes. Twelve additional acres are planted in Teroldego, Syrah, Petite Sirah
and Riesling. The 40 years old Chardonnay blocks are dry farmed, giving the wine a site-specific “terroir” characteristic. He has been handcrafting his wines since 1999, making only 5,000 cases of his own wine each year. Stephen Ross Dooley founded Stephen Ross Wine Cellars in 1994. He is a U.C. Davis graduate (1977) with winemaking experience at Louis Martini Winery in the Napa Valley, and the Edna Valley Vineyard. Dooley also served winemaking stints in South Africa and Australia. For Stephen, winemaking has turned out to be a passport to adventure. From his boyhood home in the Minnesota River Valley to California, Dooley’s career path has taken him through the Napa Valley and to far-flung locations in the Australian outback and the South African Cape. Experiences and insights reaped along the way have played a significant part in shaping his personal winemaking style. Mike Sinor is recognized as one of the Central Coast’s highest-rated winemakers. Wines made by Mike have scored 96 points in the WineSpectator™, 95 points in Connoiseur’s Guide™, 92 points in Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate™ and 95 points in Wine Enthusiast™. The word that best describes Mike is “Fanatical.” He is a self-made winemaker with no formal winemaking education who worked his way up from “cellar rat” through grit, determination and sheer love of wine. Raised in Visalia, CA, Mike attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with the objective of becoming a high school shop teacher. He financed his college education by working at several local wineries -- an experience that ignited his passion for the craft of making wine. Mike met his future wife, Cheri LaVallee, in a chemistry class at CalPoly (now that’s Chemistry 101). He has produced numerous gold medal wines in his career, one of which was selected and served at the White House for a presidential state dinner. You and nine friends will get a behind-the-scenes look at the art of winemaking, along with a taste of the coastal SLO Wine region at every stop along the way. Laura Jeffery, owner of 101 Wine Tours will be your personal sommelier guide and host as you taste through the wines with our “Finely Aged to Perfection” winemakers. Lot Restrictions: Date must be agreed upon by all parties and tours not available from June-October. Must be redeemed by November 2016. Tip for driver not included.

24. TRES AMIGOS Donated by the Niven Family
• Three Hand-Etched 3 Liters of Baileyana Pinot Noir: 2014 Baileyana La Entrada Pinot Noir 2014 Baileyana El Pico Pinot Noir 2014 Baileyana Halcon Rojo • Art inspired by Diego Rivera, hand painted by Candice Norcross When cousins John H. Niven and Michael Blaney look out over the vineyards spreading south from Islay Hill, they see the past. And they see the future. Their grandfather Jack Niven planted the vineyards 40 years ago, pioneering modern grape growing in Edna Valley. The family has been shaping the wine industry there ever since. Rather than starting small, Niven, who had already built and sold off a successful chain of grocery stores, went big into the grape-growing business. He planted the 550-acre Paragon Vineyards in 1973 and built a good business selling grapes to wine producers. In 1981, he began Edna Valley Vineyard in partnership with a historic Monterey County vineyard, growing it into a national brand that helped put the area on the map as a wine region before Gallo bought it two years ago. Then Niven helped Edna Valley become a designated wine region, spearheading the effort to earn American Viticultural Area status in 1982. While Niven focused on the large-scale business, his wife, Catherine, took on her own project, planting 31⁄2 acres of grapes in front of their Tiffany Ranch Road home. Catherine — who grew up on her family’s thoroughbred horse farm in Kentucky and owned a winning racehorse — was the first to venture into making wine, starting what would become Baileyana. The Nivens’ sons, John and James, eventually joined the family business, and with their parents, they expanded the family’s vineyards to more than 1,100 acres, placing them among the largest landholders in Edna Valley. They also grew Baileyana into another national brand. Continued....
Now in the expert hands of the next two generations, Niven Family Wine Estates now includes six brands: their flagship Baileyana, Tangent, True Myth, Zocker, Cadre and Trenza wines. For this year’s auction, Niven Family Wine Estates is excited to present you with our Baileyana Three Amigos auction lot! Our lot consists of three hand painted and etched 3L bottles of 2014 Baileyana Pinot Noir from our estate vineyard. Each year our winemaker Christian Roguenant produces three different limited production Pinot Noirs, each from a particular block in our vineyard. They are: La Entrada, El Pico and Halcón Rojo and we aptly call them the Three Amigos! In honor of this year’s auction theme, Harvest on the Coast, we have chosen three harvest related paintings by legendary Mexican painter Diego Rivera: “The Flower Carrier” , “Sembrador de Coles” and “Portrait of Dolores Olmedo”. Diego Rivera sought to make art that reflected the lives of the Mexican people. In 1921, through a government program, he started a series of murals in public buildings. In the 1930s and ‘40s, Diego Rivera painted several murals in the United States. Each bottle is etched and hand painted by renowned Central Coast artist Candice Norcross. We have been working with Candice for decades and her artistry never disappoints. Not only are the bottles a beautiful work of art that anyone would be proud to showcase in their cellar, but the wines are exquisite! Three distinct, small lot, single block Pinot Noirs from our pioneering estate in the Edna Valley that are true in varietal character yet nuanced to express the subtle differences throughout our vineyard. We hope you enjoy the Three Amigos!

Niner Wine Estates is a family owned company that makes wine exclusively from three estate vineyards in San Luis Obispo County. After growing up on a farm in West Virginia, Richard Niner spent his career building small businesses across a wide variety of industries. One of his business ventures brought him to Paso Robles in the early 1990s and he was immediately drawn to the potential of both the land and the people who lived here. After a long search, Richard and Pam purchased their first vineyard, Bootjack Ranch, in 2001 and spent the next decade building a tasting room and winery, finding and planting two additional vineyards, and assembling the current team. In 2013 they retired and their son Andy Niner took over the day-today management of the business. The philosophy at Niner Wine Estates is simple: “We believe people are the key to a memorable experience, so all our events are designed to be interactive and educational. Our Chef might decide to teach you how to shuck fresh oysters during a class; our Winemaker may lead a blending seminar with his favorite barrels; our Vineyard Manager might take you to the top of Heart Hill to geek out about rootstock. Regardless, our goal is to have guests walk away loving this lifestyle as much as we do.” Lot Restrictions: Dates must be agreed upon by all parties.

When the discussion ends, there’s plenty of time for exploring nearby Central Coast wineries as well as the hosting seaside resort towns of Pismo Beach and Avila Beach that offer downtown winetasting rooms, pristine beaches, surfing and kayaking, hiking and biking trails, farm-to-table and seaport-inspired cuisine, boutique shopping, and more. Your VIP 4-pack of tickets include admission into Friday afternoon Bubbles and Oyster Festival and Saturday’s Grand Tasting at Greengate Ranch in the Edna Valley. The 2013 vintage marked the second abundant harvest within San Luis Obispo Wine Country and the second year of the California drought. At 6 inches, total rainfall was less than 30% of the average for Southern San Luis Obispo County. Dry conditions in the spring at bloom time afforded excellent fruit set and these ideal growing conditions continued throughout the summer and fall with no rain during harvest. Yields were about 25% above average and the resulting wines are elegant and balanced. A Jeroboam bottling holds six bottles of wine or 4.5 Liters. This Chardonnay Vintage 2013 has been hand-crafted by winemaker Molly Bohlman of Niner Wine Estates and includes a blend of wines from the following brands: Baileyana Winery
Claiborne & Churchill Vintners
Biddle Ranch Vineyard
Edna Valley Vineyard
Center of Effort Wines
Filipponi Ranch Cellars
Chamisal Vineyards

Laetitia Vineyard & Winery

27. F ROM VINE TO GLASS: A HISTORIC ADVENTURE IN THE HEART OF SLO WINE COUNTRY Donated by Greengate Ranch & Vineyard, Claiborne & Churchill, Wolff Vineyards, Sextant Wines and Chef Brian Collins of Ember Restaurant
• T wo night stay at Greengate Ranch Carriage House for three couples • Vineyard walk at Greengate Ranch with Pacific Vineyard Co. • Vineyard & tasting experience among old vine Chardonnay with JeanPierre Wolff of Wolff Vineyards • Tour and tasting with Coby Parker-Garcia at Claiborne & Churchill • Vineyard tour, tasting and lunch at Sextant Wines • Dinner for 6 (six) with Chef Brian Collins of Ember Restaurant at Greengate Ranch with winemakers from Wolff Vineyards, Sextant and Claiborne & Churchill Your adventure into historic SLO Wine Country begins with a private vineyard walk at the Greengate Ranch. The Vineyards at Greengate Ranch were planted in April of 2013 on 75 acres with the help of expert agriculturist; George Donati, General Manager of Pacific Vineyard. Greengate Ranch & Vineyard has a history dating back to the 1800’s as a dairy farm, but is best known for its rise to international acclaim under the ownership of Jay and Dorothy Stream, who occupied the ranch from the 1950’s until 2012. The Streams, often in partnership with Jay’s client, the legendary Wayne Newton, bred world class Arabian horses after turning this majestic piece of land into a top notch horse facility. Next, you’ll stroll through old vine Chardonnay planted 40 years ago as JeanPierre Wolff of Wolff Vineyards gives you an inside look at sustainable and dry-farming practices and steelhead trout habitat. His 125-acre property includes 55 acres of Chardonnay and 37 acres of Pinot Noir grapes. Twelve additional acres are planted in Teroldego, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Riesling. The 40 years old Chardonnay blocks are dry farmed, giving the wine a site-specific “terroir” characteristic. He has been handcrafting his wines since 1999, making only 5,000 cases of his own wine each year. Continued....
That evening, you’ll dine with executive chef Brian Collins from Ember Restaurant and winemakers/proprietors Jean-Pierre Wolff (Wolff Vineyards), Steve Martell (Sextant Wines) and Coby Parker-Garcia (Claiborne & Churchill) as they line up some of the best wines from the region for an extraordinary dinner at Greengate Ranch. Chosen as one of the Top 100 restaurants in the US by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Ember Restaurant and chef Collins celebrates the farmers and fishermen of California’s Central Coast. The following day, you’ll enjoy a private tasting and tour at Claiborne & Churchill Winery and with winemaker Coby Parker-Garcia while tasting through their coastal Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Alsatian wines. You’ll enjoy a behind-the scenes look at winemaking and production in their straw bale wine cellar and newly renovated tasting room and bar. Next, enjoy a private tour of some of the oldest vines planted in the Edna Valley at Sextant Wines. Taste through their Pinot Noir and other brooding reds while taking in the views and a tasty lunch, compliments of their gourmet deli. When your day is over, relax, kick your boots off and indulge in the authentic California ranch experience at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard. This newly renovated and luxuriously furnished home accommodates six (6) guests and sits in the middle of a 140 acre ranch and vineyard, surrounded by vineyard views, horses and green pastures. Lot Restrictions: Dates must be agreed upon by all parties. Valid January 2016-May 2016. Subject to a $500 refundable security deposit. Not available on event weekends.

30. PRIVATE GETAWAY TO SUN VALLEY WITH THE TALLEY’S Donated by Rosemary Talley, Brian & Johnine Talley and Talley Vineyards
• Private 3-Night Getaway for Four at Rosemary Talley’s Sun Valley Home • Dinner in Ketchum, Idaho • Dinner at Rosemary Talleys Home in Sun Valley • One Magnum of Talley Vineyards “Rosemary’s Vineyard” Chardonnay • One Magnum of Talley Vineyards “Rosemary’s Vineyard” Pinot Noir Two couples will join Brian or Rosemary Talley for a three-night stay at Rosemary Talley’s Sun Valley home, nestled in the spectacular Rocky Mountains of central Idaho. Whether you prefer skiing or summer fun, beautiful Sun Valley offers an abundance of recreational activities. Choose to visit in the winter and spend an afternoon exploring the mountains, or on the slopes. If you prefer warmer days, experience summer’s beautiful landscape with hiking, fly fishing, or white-water rafting. Your three-night stay will include a dinner in town at one of Ketchum’s most highly regarded restaurants and a wonderful dinner including special wines at Rosemary Talley’s home. As previously indicated, for three generations the Talley family has farmed in Coastal San Luis Obispo County. Don planted a small test plot in 1982 on the west hillside of the Rincon Vineyard that included ChardonContinued....
nay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Over time the varietal and clonal selections were refined and planting expanded to a total of 190 acres in the Arroyo Grande and Edna Valleys. What is less known is that the Talleys are gourmets as well as wine aficionados and that they frequent locations where both interests are held in high regard. Ketchum, Idaho is one of those places; in fact, it is a destination sought-after by world travelers who wish to experience the very finest lifestyle enhancements. This auction offering for an array of Sun valley activities will allow you those luxuries. Lot Restrictions: Winning bidders are responsible for transportation to Sun Valley (there are direct flights from LAX and SFO).
