PERLE NOIRE
37 metre
semi-displacement
What makes a Heesen so distinctive? Custom built in Holland, it is not just a matter of style but more importantly, the contemporary application of engineering: the architecture of performance. Our concept has evolved over 30 years and the experience we have accrued is unlike that of any other yacht builder in the world. Building in aluminium to enormously demanding tolerances, the Heesen hull-form is unique – quite simply no other ship shape so optimises the way a yacht moves through water. Meticulous attention to weight reduction results in increased levels of luxury. A Heesen is a Heesen because we are dedicated to one principle: the performance of luxury.
he Heesen 37 metre is the world’s finest mid-size sportster and our ninth, Perle Noire, is no exception. Her top speed of 31 knots is due to a combination of precision naval architecture and Heesen expertise in weight reduction. As a result, less power is needed to reach a given speed – and less power means less fuel consumption.
Drinks in the Jacuzzi? An al fresco dinner? Or perhaps simply a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing. Stretching from vast sunpads, through the bar to a dining table that seats ten people, the sundeck measures almost 50 per cent of the yacht’s overall length.
eck space has been fully maximised, right down to positioning a large quadruple sunpad on the foredeck. True wind-in-the-hair cruising.
Heesen superstructure is so strong that very few supporting pillars are necessary, resulting in uninterrupted views on all deck levels.
ncredibly elegant interiors are a combination of Gabriel Bernardi’s design and exceptional build standards at Heesen. Our attention to detail is legendary – less than 10 per cent of the materials on offer pass our quality control. Bespoke furniture was commissioned from some of the finest craftsmen across the world: freestanding cabinets made in England, light fittings handmade in France, marble hand-picked from Italian quarries, custom-woven Scottish cashmere and door handles, custom-built from stainless steel at Heesen.
MAIN SAlOON
The configuration of the main saloon, with a single, long sofa, has resulted in an open-plan layout that provides expansive space in 37 metres.
Evoking the glamour of the 1930s on the Côte d’Azur, contemporary interpretations of Art Deco themes are complemented by details such as the faithful reproduction of period French light fittings.
eather walls, wool carpets and beautifully crafted ďŹ xed furniture in ame mahogany; the full-beam master suite on the main deck is an exceptional example of simple elegance made extraordinary by using the best materials and the best craftsmen. Storage has been integrated into the fixed furniture with typical Heesen quality, providing even more space for guests.
he full-beam master bathroom is panelled in grey-veined, white statuarietta marble. Heesen has a peerless reputation for installing this delicate material. To keep weight down the marble in the bathrooms is just 4mm thick. light as air, solid as rock. It has to be a Heesen.
The handsome design of the master suite is repeated in the three double and one twin cabins on the lower deck, all with ame mahogany panelling and marble ensuite bathrooms.
eesen believes that the quality of the crew areas is directly related to the performance of the crew. The engine room and wheelhouse have been built to ensure that the captain and crew can complete their day to day duties as effectively as possible. Galley, cabins, laundry rooms, even corridors, have been built to provide a pleasant and high quality environment. Perle Noire has two 16V 4000 M90 engines producing 2.720 kW. The power to weight efficiency is an important factor in our performance advantage.

Heesen moved into steel production in 2000 as a result of a specific client request. Indeed 50 per cent of our sales are to existing clients, progressing through options of length, construction material and hull dynamics.
