The team of HEIGHT Magazine took full advantage of the opportunity to travel to Miami Florida to participate in the unforgettable and electrifying events surrounding the nationally televised Super Bowl LIV. A team full of excitable members displaying childlike anxiousness coupled with gorgeous subtropical climates of South Florida made for a recipe for ecstasy. HEIGHT magazine covered the 21st Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration founded by Melanie Few. Mrs. Few

turned a “few” heads as she graced the red carpet adorned in a chic green and blue dress, accented with shimmering geometric embellishments. Other honorees, entertainers, and musical artists such as the NFL choir, Le’Andria Johnson, Travis Greene, Yolanda Adams, Melvin Crispell III, and Commissioned swaggered through dripping sauce on the crimson tapestry giving us a taste of the rainbow. Funnyman Rickey Smiley was chosen as this years host and as usual, he moved the crowds into roar of laughter with his southern appeal, raw humor, and personal authenticity. Among the celebs that walked away with awards for the evening were NFL players Quinnen Williams and younger

brother Quincy Williams recipients of the Faith into Action Award. The night was sensational. Every performance was pure perfection arousing the crowd represented by an array of generations with soulful melodies of praise. The night was so impressionable that the team is in anticipation for the upcoming year’s celebration as it is expected to be just as if not more sophisticated and exemplary.

Travis Greene took full advantage of the photo opportunity with his lovely wife Jacqueline.

Beautiful hostesses added flavor to the nights recipe.

During the weekend festivities, the team was also in attendance at the Celebrity Super Slam Basketball Game sponsored by Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. Proceeds from the game were donated to the Irie Foundation which contributions support interventions that provide a positive impact on the lives of Southern Florida’s at-risk youth. This year’s event was held at the Rick Case Arena in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Featured participants in the sociable scrimmage included former and current NFL players, Hollywood celebrities, and others. This family friendly event was inclusive of autograph signing, photo opportunities, appearances from elite executives and community activist, as well as a gamut of performances . One lucky attendee even had the opportunity to attempt the $10,000 half court shot. Two opposing teams, Team McGrady, headed by basketball legend Tracy McGrady and Team Boosie, coached by rap mogul Boosie Badazz, went head to head in the battle of supremacy and bragging rights. It was definitely a brawny rivalry but Team McGrady outscored their opponents securing the victor. Team HEIGHT thoroughly enjoyed the evening’s event and look forward to what’s in store for next year.
