Trim Your Beard
This step does not have to be done daily. If you are unable to trim your beard yourself, find a local skilled barber that could assist with your trimming and grooming needs.
Condition Your Beard
After washing, condition your beard. This will detangle, soften, and hydrate the hair as well as prevent itching.
WASH YOUR BEARD
Many men are unaware that the beard hoards particles and debris; therefore, it is essential that a proper wash routine is established to keep hair and face clean. Using a mild or natural beard wash, work up a lather and apply to face washing thoroughly at least twice. One application removes product build up, dirt, and grime; second application cleanses and washes away impurities. Patting the beard dry or blow drying on cool setting protects the beard from damage.
Use Beard Oils & Balms
Thoroughly massage in beard oil or balms instead of creams. Oils are lighter on the hair and coats the skin leaving it hydrated and protected.
Style Your Beard
Once the oil or balm is applied, brush and style your beard with a boar brush careful to not over brush.
