DUCTING Proper distribution of air is of great importance on the performance of the entire HVAC system and so your comfort. Heinen & Hopman offers a complete range of products to overcome various technical challenges. Together with our design software we can design and offer a complete air duct system in order to ensure optimal comfort. The air ducts systems will be designed for each individual situation and can consist of various solutions and specifications, like the type of material, circular air ducts, rectangular air ducts, thermal insulation, fittings, and flow control. Range and Material Spiro air ducts, including related fittings and components, are available in a range from Ø80 till Ø1000mm, with a thickness varying from 0,4mm till 2,5mm. Custom solutions can be designed if required, based on the specific situation onboard. The following types of material are available: • Sendzimir galvanized steel; • Stainless steel (AISI-316 and AISI-304); • Aluminum (ISO 209-1). Classification The dimensions are according to Eurovent. Airtightness class according to DIN24147. “B-class” (on request it is possible to supply in “C-class”). Pre-insulated Pre-insulated spiro ducts and components are used for the distribution of conditioned air. Pre-insulated ducts exist of a double steel sheet with a layer of thermal insulation in between. The thermal insultation has a thickness of 16mm, however other sizes are available upon request. The nominal size Ø100–500 always refers to the inner diameter, irrespective of the type in question. There are two types to choose from, type 30 and type 50. The inner sheath is made from standard units from the Safeprogramme. This means that adequate properties are the same as for the corresponding Safe-units. The outer sheath is supplied as standard with hot dip galvanised steel sheet Z 275. It can also be made in plastic coated galvanised steel sheet, stainless steel or alu-zink to special order. The benefits of pre-insulated ducting and components are: No chance for condensation on the ducting; • Sound reduction; • Increased efficiency, since temperature rise of conditioned air (caused by transmission through the ducts) is reduced to a minimum. Un-insulated Un-insulated spiro ducts and components are used for distribution of not conditioned air. The un-insulated spiro is available with the following special designs: • Dimensions Intermediate internal diameter dimensions between 63 mm to 1600 mm. • Extra tight, with seam seal (Air ducts with low leakage rate) When extremely low leakage rate is required, the ducts can also be supplied with a special rubber seal in the seam. This seal is very effective (efficient) at reducing leakage air. • Reinforcement corrugations Ducts of Ø250 mm and above are provided with corrugations to increase radial stiffness. 2

FLEXIBLE ALUMINIUM SOUND ATTENUATOR

The flexible sound attenuator exist of a perforated ALUFLEX inside and outside hose with in between an 25mm (50mm optional) thick glass wool with a volume weight of 24kg/m3 what will cause a high sound attenuation. The sound attenuator is non-flammable according DIN4102 A1-class. The maximum airflow is 30 m/s, with a standard length of 500, 750, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm. Ø In
