LEGAL CONFORMITY The OCRAMclima Air Handling Units (AHU) are divided into twenty six models, all certified, with airflows between 600 to 160 000 m3/h, governed by the standards requirements of EN 1886:2007 (ventilation for buildings, Air Handling Units and mechanical performance) and EN 13053:2006 (ventilation for buildings, Air Handling Units, unities, components and sections classification and performance). OCRAM clima速 AHU Fast Select POWERFUL TOOL OPTIMIZED, AND EUROVENT CERTIFIED The AHU selection is made by the OCRAMclima select, a powerful selection software, which generate all the selection sheets, as well as 2D drawings, in DWG format. The generated technical sheets presents various data as the diagram of the ventilators operating points, the coils and recovery psychrometric diagrams, the filter pressure drop, etc. Characteristics of the components, as well draws in .dwg extension for inclusion in project. Also is possible to compare the unit with an 1.8 m height individual. COMPARATIVE Possibility to compare the unit with an 1.8 m height individual, in 3D ambience.
3D DESKTOP Possibility to edit all the elements. Energetic classification of the AHU in real time.

The standard enveloping is made by an aluminum profile with 70 mm of large and by a sandwich panels constituted by two galvanized sheet panel with rock wool insulation. The inner sheet presents a thickness of 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm for the outer sheet which are painted in epoxy RAL 9006

These sections are equipped by aluminum logs, moved in an opposite way, with an aerodynamic profile. The contacts between the blades are made by a sealing flexible gasket material. The axes and tie rods are in aluminum and could receive any actuator.

EC Ventilator
AC Ventilator
VENTILATORS All the units are equipped with centrifugal Plug Fan ventilators with direct transmission of high performance and can be supplied with EC motors (Electrically Commutable), the latest technology. These ventilators are dynamically and statically equilibrated in accordance with VDI 2060 norm. The Moto-ventilator structure is executed in galvanized steel. The access is allowed by doors with inspection windows. This section is equipped with nylon part gland that guarantees tightness of the unit and has threads for installing grommets. Anti-vibration systems are used to support the ventilators in the unit and to connect the ventilator section with the rest of the components section.

COILS Coils composed by a fin bloc with copper tubes and aluminum fins spaced from 2.0 mm until 4.0 mm and a galvanized steel structure. Coils installed on rails allowing it removal for an easier maintenance and substitution. The hydraulic connections type is threaded, with male thread. The test pressure is 16 bar for a service pressure of 10 bar. The drain pans are on stainless steel. The rails and coils supports are in aluminium.

FILTERS All the range filters are in accordance with EN 779 for gravimetric and opacimetric categories and the EN 1822 for the high efficiency category. The filter rails and frames are in galvanized steel. The frame/rail - filter group constitute an efficient filter bypass leakage.

AIR HANDLING MU SERIES
ACOUSTICAL ATTENUATORS The acoustical attenuators module has the same construction as the other modules, composed of septa as monobloc with 200 mm of thickness. They are covered by a disintegrator pellicle. The attenuators length can goes from 600 mm to 2100 mm and the septa structure are in galvanized steel. The septa is installed on rails allowing it easier maintenance and/or removal.

ADIABATIC HUMIDIFICATION The operating characteristics are based on the natural effect of water evaporating when air stream passes over a wet surface. Air picks up water vapor which decreases the air temperature since the heat of evaporating comes from the air. This principle ensures that a gas to air mixture occurs without any liquid water being released. Maximum performance with minimum operating costs. The humidifier presents a modular construction for large airflows with a stainless steel basin and frames, easy to disassemble for cleaning and maintenance purposes and accessible on all surfaces maintenance and/or removal.

STEAM HUMIDIFICATION (Section for steam humidification) An empty section is reserved, with the same construction as the other modules, a stainless drain pan, an inspection window and a removal panel.
PLATES HEAT RECOVERY The plates, standard, are in aluminium and presents an optimal resistance for high pressures. The flow rate leakage between air circuits presents values below 1%. The drain pan with exit threaded connection is installed in the exhaust air side, where appropriate. The bypass option for free cooling is possible.

DESCRIPTION The ceiling concealed units OCRAMclima LP series are dimensioned for fitting in places where available space is restrict. With several assembly options and accessories available, this modular construction unit represents an economic and flexible solution to fulfil the ventilation, air conditioning and air indoor quality requirements in small areas. Three available models for airflows up to 5100 m³/h.
CEILING CONCEALED AIR HANDLING UNITS LP SERIES
ADVANTAGES Flexibility These units can be horizontal or vertical mounted and be installed in any zone due to their low height (375 mm). Adaptability The modular construction system presents a variety of installation and accessory options allowing access to a great number of possible configurations enabling to adapt the unit to every installation or construction requirement. Easy Servicing Access available by both sides of the unit as well as from the bottom, facilitating maintenance when installed in false ceiling. The hydraulic connection side can be easily modified on site to the right or left. Factory Packaged The units can be provided with control, completely electrified, with hydraulic connections and exterior unit, in the case of the units with a direct expansion system, providing a compact and easy installation package. Air Indoor Quality Stainless steel drain pan properly inclined to the siphon to ensure the complete draining of the condensates, preventing humidity and corrosion inside the unit. The double panel option with completely smooth interior construction facilitates cleaning and prevents dust and organisms from accumulating inside the unit. NanoPurifying System Possibility to integrate an air purifying system for removal of air pollutants such as microorganisms and volatile organic compounds trough ultraviolet radiation and catalytic air ionization. Durability and maintenance Constructed with robust materials and highly resistant to corrosion, the ceiling concealed units OCRAMclima LP Series are built to maintain optimal operation even in the harshest conditions. The maintenance of these units is easy and intuitive. All the components have an individual access by the lateral or base of the unit. The motors are direct drive equipped.

FEATURES Construction · Anticorrosive galvanized steel frame and corners in polyamide techno polymer reinforced with a galvanized steel core which guarantees an excellent mechanical stability and resistance. · Simple or double face galvanized panels, insulated with high performance closed cell rubber foam 10-20mm ( =0,035 W/mK; =75kg/m3; Fire resistance class M1) or 30mm rock wool ( =0,036 W/mK; =40kg/m3; Fire resistance class M1). Fans · Double aspiration centrifugal fans and direct drive motor and forward curve blades. · Anticorrosive galvanized steel finishing. · Closed motors with low consumption with incorporated thermal protection, F class isolation and IP54 protection. · Three speeds with possibility of variation in the maximum speed. · Electrical supply 230 V 3~50Hz. · Optimized design to ensure low acoustic levels. · Fans comply with the ErP 2009/125/CE directive. Coils . Water Coils Water feed coils built off seamless cooper tubes mechanically expanded trough aluminum fins set on a waved profile, studied and conceived to achieve the best performance of the coil. . Direct Expansion Coils Direct expansion coils (DX), prepared to work with the R-410A refrigerant, free of ozonedepleting composites. Seamless cooper tubes and aluminum fins. · 1 to 4 rows heating coils; · 1 to 4 rows cooling coils. All the cooling coils are supplied with a drain pan, properly inclined to guarantee the full drainage of the condensates. Optional droplet eliminator to prevent drag of droplets in high velocity or humidity situations on the cooling coil (recommended for velocities over 2,5 m/s). . Electric Coils Coils with galvanized steel casing and stainless steel resistances, U shaped and spiral fins.These can be provided with 1, 2 or 3 power echelons accordingly to the heating needs. Ventilation and pre-filtration module with pre-installation to accommodate a 50 mm thickness filter. Standard version with a G4 level filter. Fine filtration modules allow the installation of plan and bag filters from M6 to F9. Filters classified accordingly to the normative EN779:2011.
Attenuators · · ·
Acoustical attenuators with 600 or 900 mm of length built with 200 mm tick vertical splitters. Galvanized steel casing with an aerodynamic profile that guarantees low pressure drops. 3 Splitters built with acoustical absorption material (40 kg/m rock wool) and covered with an anti-abrasive, non degradable, non hygroscopic and incombustible covering.

CONFIGURATIONS The ceiling concealed air handling units LP series are applicable to several situations, representing an intermediate solution between the small fan coil and the central station air handling units.
2 PIPES CONFIGURATION Configuration with fan, pre-filter and one water coil. The unit can produce heating only, cooling only or both individually (changeover system). The changeover system allows for the unit to produce cooling or heating accordingly to the season of the year. The changeover system requires adequate control and hydraulic equipment to adequately switch between the heating and cooling modes. (see page) THECNICAL NOTE: The dimensioning of the coil for the changeover system requires, almost always, for the coil to be oversized for one of the modes (cooling or heating).
4 PIPES CONFIGURATION Configuration with fan, pre-filter and two water coils. The unit can produce both heating and cooling. The cooling and heating coil can work together by dehumidifying and reheating the air respectively in order to control the acclimatized air humidity levels.

2 PIPES PLUS ELETRIC COIL CONFIGURATION Configuration with fan, pre-filter, one water coil and an electric coil. By adding an electric coil for heating or re-heating the air the 2 pipe unit allows for cooling and heating without the use of the changeover system or another heating sources (ex. boilers). It´s a lowcost alternative to the traditional water fed 4 pipe systems.
DX COIL CONFIGURATION Configuration with fan, pre-filter and one direct expansion coil.
TECHNICAL NOTE: The temperature of the exhaust air on the electric coil must not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the fans (60 ° C). If necessary to heat the air to temperatures above 60 ° C, place the fan upstream of the electric battery.
Units with direct expansion coil that can be easily connected to an outdoor condensing unit, creating a compact and easily installable air conditioning package.
TECHNICAL NOTE: The electric coil is a purely resistive element and produces a constant heating power during its functioning. Never operate the unit with a lower minimum speed than the representative of the minimum airflow required by the electric coil in order to prevent overheating and subsequent collapse of the system.
Another advantage of this system is the possibility of sectioning the DX coil, allowing operation with several external condensing units.
TECHNICAL NOTE: The electric coils are equipped with a thermal fuse that interrupts operation once the battery reaches the maximum allowable operating temperature.
TECHNICAL NOTE: You cannot connect two condensing units in the same direct expansion coil. Never connect two independent refrigerant circuits on a single DX coil circuit.

DESCRIPTION The OCRAMclima® Compact Air Handling Units KT-RFC Series are the ideal solution for air conditioning in commercial, industrial or residential zones. Equipped with a cross flow heat exchanger with efficiencies over 50%, centrifugal or radial fans and the possibility of horizontal or vertical construction. Several options and accessories available. 9 models available up to 8000 m3/h.

FEATURES Construction · Anticorrosive galvanized steel frame and corners in polyamide techno polymer reinforced with a galvanized steel core which guarantees an excellent mechanical stability and resistance. · Removable sandwich panels in galvanized steel with thermal and acoustical insulation of 30 mm rock wool (λ=0,036 W/mK; ρ=40kg/m³; Fire Resistance Rating M1). Fans · Radial fans with forward curved blades made of a high performance composite. · Smooth blades easily cleanable. · Tridimensional design of the blades optimized for high efficiency and low noise level. · Low consumption AC motors calibrated both dynamically and statically accordingly to the normative ISO 1940 part 1. Protection class IP-54, Thermal class IP155. · Motor finish RAL7032. ·
Economical option with double inlet centrifugal fans, direct drive motor with 3 speeds or 1 variable speed. Casing and finish in galvanized steel. Low consumption motors. Class F, IP-54 and thermal protection.
· · Filters · Mounted on a galvanized steel frame. · Classified under the normative EN779:2011. · Standard version equipped with a G4 plan filter. Exchanger · Cross flow heat exchanger with aluminium fins. · Energy efficiency up to 70%. · Motorized by-pass available as option. Water Coils Water feed coils built off seamless cooper tubes mechanically expanded trough aluminium fins set on a waved profile, studied and conceived to achieve the best coil performance. Direct Expansion Coils Direct expansion coils (DX), prepared to work with the R-410A refrigerant, free of ozonedepleting composites. Seamless cooper tubes and aluminium fins. · 1 to 4 rows heating coils; · 1 to 4 rows cooling coils.
All the cooling coils are supplied with a drain pan, properly inclined to guarantee the full drainage of the condensates. Optional droplet eliminator to prevent drag of droplets in high velocity or humidity situations on the cooling coil (recommended for velocities over 2,5 m/s).
