Sphectacula and DJ Naves
DON QUIXOTE LastseenontheJohannesburgstagefiveyearsago, Don Quixote is a classic ballet set in Barcelona that tells the story of Kitri and her love for the dashing but poor barber, Basilio. This uplifting ballet has themes of class, honour and virtue and ultimately proves that love conquers all. The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra has been tasked with bringing to life it’s score, including the famous piece; Don Quixote Pas de Deux. International ballet starts Marianela Nuñez and Vadim Muntagirov of The Royal Ballet will be playing the leading roles in two of the ten expected performances.
