HHPLIFT is a nonprofit, social enterprise with a mission to forge economic independence through workforce and business opportunities for people overcoming barriers to fair wage employment. We are the industry innovator in sourcing socially responsible products for business solutions & we curate, craft, and sell sustainable social impact products and services for discerning consumers and socially conscious businesses. Our social impact products are handmade by artisans and crafters overcoming barriers to fair wage employment in the U.S. and abroad, and produced by social enterprises, including our own.

Products are handcrafted by artisans and LIFTTM Program associates overcoming opportunity, developmental, and/or physical barriers to fair wage employment.

At our LIFTTM Workshop in Chicago, disinvested and overlooked communities in and around the city produce, design, and market our luxe brands of bath & spa and home & office goods.

Associates in the LIFTTM Program begin their three-part journey from SPARK (beginning the program) to RISE (leadership role) to LIFT (career track).

The goal is economic independence and a successful career path, at HHPLIFT or beyond.

Introducing LIFT™, all-natural candles, soaps, and bath salts, that are developed and mixed in our Chicago LIFT™ Workshop. The unique blend of scents capture places and moments that evoke everything from the forests of the Pacific Northwest, to the hills of southern France.

Hand-poured candles are paraffin-free, made of sustainable soy wax with coconut, and contain no metals or lead in the wicks. Soaps are made with natural, sustainable plant-based glycerin of the highest quality. And bath salts come from all natural sea salt from the Pacific Ocean.

HHPLIFT is dedicated to its work to LIFTCOMMUNITIES and SPARKCHANGE for those in need all over the world. LIFT™ products are handmade by LIFT™ Program associates, who are trained to produce, design, and market the bath and spa goods, with a goal to build a career path at HHPLIFT and beyond.

THE LIFTTM PROGRAM

LIFTTM Program is HHP development Program, where people in Chicago overcoming barriers to fair wage employment gain critical career development skills through employment opportunities, leadership training, mentorship, education, and more. All with a mission to forge economic independence for Program associates and their families.

The LIFTTM Workshop is more than a production facility, it is a safe and supportive work environment for individuals overcoming barriers to employment who learn on the job to design, manufacture, and market bath & spa and home & office products.

Working directly with nonprofit organizations such as Cara, Heartland Alliance, and Transition2Work, we onboard people from disinvested and overlooked communities in and around Chicago. Each new associate is crosstrained at the LIFTTM Program to learn all facets of the business.
