Thailand :

The Mokens are one of the last sea tribes settled in the Surin Islands off the Thai coast in the Andaman Sea. Using their environment resources for their dwellings: the kabang (houseboat), their food : fishing and shellfish picking, their health : their shamans have a very rich traditional pharmacopoeia. The Mokens are not recognized as Thai citizens and therefore do not have the right to possess any land nor can they go to school. Text : text available
