POSTPONES 2021 CLASS
In an abundance of caution as COVID-19 cases continue to rise this summer, the board of directors for Leadership Henry has voted to defer the class of 2021 until next year.
The Grand Re-Opening of Urban Air Adventure Park McDonough featured the Chamber’s June Business After Hours on Thursday, June 25, the first to be held since COVID-19 pandemic. Required mask wearing and social distancing along with Urban Air’s new compliance measures kept everyone safe during the event. Highlights included introductions and networking with new Chamber members, the meal prepared by Urban Air’s chef, and the many opportunities to enjoy Urban Air’s unique entertainment features.

“Over the next year,” explains Joseph B. Henning, president & CEO of Henry County Chamber, “we plan to add more personal and community leadership discussion and activities to the program. In addition, we hope to expand the conversations in the community about leadership principles.” Leadership Henry is a program of Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

THE PATH TO LEADERSHIP IN 2021 Applications for the Youth Leadership Henry Class of 20202021 are now open! Youth Leadership Henry is an annual program sponsored by the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of Youth Leadership Henry is to identify emerging leaders, to bring them together in an atmosphere conducive to the free exchange of ideas, and to provide them with an enlightening educational experience. Participants are taught leadership skills while learning about the various government, economic and social sectors of the community. Upon completion of the program, participants will have an increased awareness of the vital issues and needs of the community and challenged to be responsible and engaged leaders.
