noticed for all the right reasons at work: • Don’t wear revealing clothing— save your mini skirt or plunging neckline for the club. • Don’t wear tennis shoes or flip flops—even on casual Friday. • Don’t wear clothing that is stained or torn—even if working outside. • Do wear layers in an office setting. A jacket or sweater not only adds polish but can be a welcome addition if the air conditioning temp is too low. • Don’t wear t-shirts or shirts with advertising or slogans. • Do be conscientious of other people’s allergies. Stay away from excessive cologne or perfume. • Do express your individuality with some great accessories—a fashionable belt, a printed scarf or classic timepiece—the options are endless. • Do project confidence.
