HemoStyp What is HemoStyp? It is a topical haemostatic agent that is made from treated and sterilised cellulose that is available in fabric meshwork. Stop Bleeding in Seconds HemoStyp™ is listed on the ARTG with a Type IIa classification, indicated for the control of bleeding from open wounds and body cavities (e.g., mouth ears, nose and throat). The material does not contain any chemical additives, thrombin or collagen and is hypoallergenic.

Dental Indications For any procedure that may cause bleeding, HemoStyp can be used to achieve haemostasis almost instantly. Listed are some of the current procedural indications about the use of HemoStyp.
