Course overview: This one-day course teaches a logical, predictable and reproducible approach to endodontics. Armed with countless clinical tips and skills, you will walk away ready to perform high quality endodontic treatment in general practice.

Getting your imaging right including when, why and how to take and interpret CBCT

Modern conservative access cavity design including managing pulp stones, canal location, MB2, upper premolars, lower incisors

Rotary instrument selection and technique including length determination with apex locators, reciprocation vs continuous motion

Activating your irrigants & using medicaments

•

Thermoplastic (warm gutta percha) Obturation technique – fast, predictable and adaptable to almost every situation

•

Tips for trouble-free endodontics including rubber dam shortcuts, LA & hot pulps, diagnostic challenges, internal bleaching, restoring after RCT, communication in endodontics

PRESENTERS DR HARRY MOHAN AND DR AARON GASCOIGNE

DR HARRY MOHAN completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 2008, before commencing work as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. Harry was posted to RAAF bases in South Australia and NSW, and then transitioned to private dental practice in the Blue Mountains and NSW Central Coast. He later completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry specialising in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne and has special interests in dental trauma and helping patients with dental fear and anxiety. Harry is a regular CPD presenter in NSW and a clinical tutor for the University of Melbourne.

DR AARON GASCOIGNE graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2015. Prior to this, Aaron completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Queensland in 2011. After working as a dentist in the rural NSW town of Coonabarabran, Aaron returned to study and completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry specialising in Endodontics at the University of Queensland. He enjoys all areas of Endodontics and holds a special interest in endodontic microsurgery. Aaron works in private specialist practice in Shellharbour and Gregory Hills, NSW.
