Debra Trentin Equipment Specialist

Who you are ...

I’m Debra Trentin, I have worked for Henry Schein since 2008 (with a 2-year gap year in between). I’ve moved from reception to service administrator, installation co-ordinator and most recently Equipment Specialist.

What do you love about your job?

I love the Project management side of my job. Co-ordinating between the client, fit out/tradesmen, and with our internal admin and technicians. I also love building relationships with all stakeholders and being a part of the exciting journey of replacing old equipment with new or larger jobs such as being a part of new surgery set ups.

Which territory?

I look after a third of NSW. From Sydney CBD, Inner-West, Parramatta, Greater Western Sydney and out to Country NSW What customers can expect from working with you?

Customers can expect for me to work closely alongside them or take full control of their project if they prefer. I will guide them from start to finish to ensure a smooth and successful project and continue to support them well after completion as well as offer ongoing training and support.

I am extremely passionate about what I do and really enjoy being a part of the clients journey. I consider myself a team player and genuine person who is honest, transparent and only want the very best for everyone around me

Mellick Madi Equipment Specialist

Who you are ...

I’m Mellick, one of the equipment specialists in New South Wales. I look after the North region of the state. I was originally a medical scientist having worked in a Microbiology and Infectious disease lab for several years. I also have several years of sales experience under my belt. This prior experience has helped me intertwine my love for both the medical/dental professional, with client interaction – which is exactly what I currently do.

What do you love about your job?

I love that my job has so many different avenues other than just being a “specialist in equipment”. You have to be somewhat of a “specialist” in opening surgeries, communicating with people, spotting and evaluating trends in the market, building great and trustworthy relationships with my clients etc. It makes my job so much more rewarding when you can assist someone from the very beginning of a project, to the very end. The dynamic nature of the role always keeps me on my toes, and there’s never a dull moment.

Which territory?

My territory in essence, is classified as Northern NSW. I start my journey in Sydney around Ryde, and continue North (predominately around the coastline) for roughly 500km until just before Coffs Harbour.

What customers can expect from working with you?

My clients can expect an honest and hardworking character from the very beginning. My aim is to be very transparent about anything and everything to make every client feel at ease. Many of my current customers already enjoy a friendly relationship with me, more than just their “equipment guy”. The relationship is built on honesty, professionalism and at the end of the day a level of friendship. This makes it easier for my customers to rely on me for whatever it may be – giving them peace of mind.

I’m a very big believer in the fact that to perform well in your job, you really have to appreciate what you do. Although every single day in my role is different, I still enjoy what I do on any given day, and for that reason – I’m always giving it my best shot. This means you can expect a strong commitment (even after hours), great work ethic, and unwavering honesty.

Patrick Tarrant Equipment Specialist Who you are ...

My name is Patrick Tarrant; I am an Equipment Specialist for Henry Schein Dental in New South Wales.

I have been working with Dental Equipment for around 15 years and working full time here in this position in Sydney for just over 12 years.Prior to that I went to University in Florida and received a degree in Business Administration; acquiring a Major in both Marketing and International Business.I soon thereafter put in for a work transfer with Henry Schein USA when I was 23 years old and moved to beautiful Australia.

What do you love about your job?

I love the challenges and the satisfactions that you get when dealing directly with the client. There is so much great technology in the Dental Market and within our portfolio, that to put in the time to learn the customer and find the best solutions for them personally always gives me great satisfaction. I love the technology that I get to see improve and learn about. I love managing large projects from start to finish and seeing it all come together in the end. I love getting to see the beautiful areas of Australia that I drive through monthly.

Which territory?

I look after the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney as well as the Southern Territory throughout NSW and ACT. What customers can expect from working with you?

I have put in the time and hard yards to get to a point where I can be of help.Having worked with several high end and reputable brands for so long, I have great long term relationships with my clients and I think that is truly what the Modern Dental Clinic needs; a partner in their Equipment Specialist.There are so many ways that an experienced Dental Equipment Specialist like myself can benefit a dental team. I am the first person on the job site meeting with your builders and architects for your new surgery. I am also who should be called to train the new dentist you just hired on your chair and X-Ray software you purchased from me 3 years ago. I can help explain changes in Infection Control Protocol when you update your steri area, and I can help you design your room to better fit the chair you want to purchase.When new technology comes out or an item in their existing surgery falters, my clients have a person that they can trust to call and know that I will always help them and give them honest information regarding their query. Often after hours…My goal is to be the partner that you ring any time you have questions pertaining to Dental Equipment.

Filipe Scimini Marketing Coordinator

Who you are ...

I’m Filipe, the new marketing coordinator for the equipment division! My professional background is predominately within online marketing roles. Previously I have worked on graphic design projects for the Westfield group and, most recently, for some windsurfing brands which have been a great experience.

What do you love about your job?

What excites me about my job is that I am able to constantly be creative, whether it is designing logos, working on page lay outs etc.! I’m passionate for design in general so getting to do this every day in my profession gives me a huge feeling of satisfaction and gratefulness. Of course, there are super busy times and pressure in all positions, but in short, it’s such a fun and dynamic role as I’m constantly challenged to bring something new, trendy and refreshing to the table.

Customers can expect me to produce marketing communication in line with their expectations and needs. I am always striving to bring the most relevant and interactive content as possible. I have a positive attitude and I’m super committed to my work which means that I will work hard to ensure that we are providing the best service we can.

I consider myself really outgoing, positive and always trying to involve myself in a team environment. I think in a large company, being a team player is a necessity! Once I am out of my shell in a new environment, I’m super proactive and engaging team player.
