What are the benefits for your customers?

What have they got to lose! It’s free to join with no strings attached – if they are spending anyway why not earn points on that spend – they don’t need to do anything differently. Earn 1 point for every £1 spent. Plus it includes purchases on equipment, digital technology, consumables and software. 8,000 points (worth £20) when they sign up to get them started and regardless of when they join in the month, they will receive backdated points on all purchases made throughout that month. Dedicated portal to manage, view and redeem their points anytime, anywhere. Double/triple points offers throughout the year on a variety of products.

About Rewards

Each £1 spent on HSD (consumables, equipment, education, lab, service, software) or SOE products generates 1 point. Some exclusions apply. See below for details.

Each point is worth £0.0025 (quarter of a penny) for standard rewards customers and £0.005 (half a penny) for Platinum customers. New members qualify for an opening balance of 8,000 free points (worth £20).

The points are allocated in the first week of each month and relate to all invoiced orders from the previous month.

The programme runs in a 2-year cycle to allow customers to accrue points. Currently, points will be allocated on all purchases up to 31 January 2024. January's points will be added to accounts around 5 February 2024 – then customers have until 29 February 2024 to redeem their points when they will be expired. Points can be used to purchase:

• SOE/HSD/MediCruit vouchers to use in payment for orders (consumables, equipment, service, software and recruitment).

• Dental Products – these include handpieces, whitening, infection control, small equipment and more. See website for most up to date items.

• A selection of practice-related items including mobile technology, kitchen products, TVs, sound systems, laptops, ipads etc. Just check out the website to see the range. • Donation to one of three charities – DentAid, Bridge2Aid and Cancer Research UK.

Special Markets and Financial Services are excluded from the scheme.

Standard member benefits

Opening balance of 8000 points (worth £20). Earn one point for every £1 spent Join at any point in the month and you will receive backdated points on all purchases made throughout that month. Earn and use points across almost all the Henry Schein portfolio: everyday items, digital technology, capital equipment and our own events and education. Double and triple points on exclusive and limited offers. Early bird discounts to our events. Specific MediCruit and Software of Excellence services*. Free goody bags at many of our shows and trade events.

Exclusions apply: You are unable to earn or use points on the following: Pharmaceuticals and anaesthetics, monthly charges, recurring revenue from Software of Excellence, emergency call-outs and anything (including service calls, spares and parts) that is not under your service contract. Rewards programme is not available to Special Market customers (corporates, institutions and dental suppliers) - high street customers only.

Platinum membership & Laboratories

Platinum membership is for those customers who commit 80% of their spend with us. Their spend is calculated based on the chair data the customer provides when they sign up. We would look at an average spend of £6K per year/per chair; to qualify for platinum membership we would expect the customer to be spending £4,800 per year/per chair.

Please take a look at your customers and their spend to see if you have any who fit into this category and are not currently Platinum members. You can then request the change with your RSM to gain their authorisation. Forward this to the Rewards team at: gbcss.team@henryschein.com

Platinum member benefits are the same as standard, except they receive 2 points for every £1 they spend.

Laboratories Remember the programme is open to labs too. We run lab Rewards offers in our marketing collateral throughout

the year, featuring special pricing, double or even triple points on products across the range. Regularly check out the Rewards offer page for the latest promotions. We will also be expanding the range of products available for customers to purchase with their points – this will include a selection of lab products, making it the perfect time to sign up!

Please ensure all partner labs are signed up to the programme and platinum membership, if they qualify for this.

New member sign up

The site for new members to sign up is here: hsdrewards.co.uk This site highlights the benefits of being a member and how the programme works. Customers will need their HSD, SOE and GDC account numbers. The customer must register themselves and accept the Ts and Cs. You cannot do it for them. Once they have become a member, they will get a welcome email and can login at hsd-rewards.co.uk

Members’ website what’s available?

This website is purely for Rewards members on which they can check, manage and redeem their points. This can all be done in the My Account tab in the top bar.

Filters can be added for date range and by debit, credit or both. This will show all the points that have been allocated and spent. If you find that you are locked out or if your customers have queries that you are unable to answer, please refer them to rewards.team@henryschein.co.uk (tel: 0800 083 8559).

Spending points

My Rewards is where they can see the options for redeeming their points when they wish to – customers can redeem their points at any time within the 2 year cycle.

Top tip: customers can use the filter at the top of this section to see what products are available based on their points balance. Simply enter a min points (this can be left at 0) and a max points, search and all items will appear below. You can also filter by product type ie. Handpieces & Small Equipment, Smart Home & Tech or Computing. Products will show highest points value to lowest as default but can be sorted on the right hand side.

Henry Schein Vouchers – starting from as low as £10 customers can purchase either Consumables & Small Equipment, Capital Equipment, MediCruit, Servicing or Software of Excellence vouchers and then use these on their next order as part or full payment. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Dental Products (UK Only) – selection of dental products including White Dental Beauty, EdgeEndo, Biocleanse, RelyX plus much more are all available to purchase at extra special prices. For details of all products available visit the website. Prices start from as little as 1,600 points!

What to do if a customer wants to use a Henry Schein Voucher on their order Consumables and Small Equipment Vouchers Web order If a customer places their order on the web they will add their voucher code into the comments box, these orders will go onto an EX hold. Once received you will need to add the voucher on/deduct the value – see instructions below on how to add a voucher. Once the voucher has been applied to the order you MUST email hsdrewards@henryschein.co.uk or put through a case to Tracy Norton on salesforce. This must include the voucher code and order number so the voucher can be closed down. Over the phone orders: how to add a voucher

If you are placing an order with the voucher code please do the following;

Create the order as normal then add the voucher code to the promo code field and click apply. (If processing a web order – open the order and apply the voucher in the same way)

If this does not work enter “MONEYOFF” into the order field and deduct the value.

The reason code must be RW for Rewards. The order can then be placed as normal.

Capital Equipment Vouchers Below is the process to follow to add the voucher once you have received the details from the customer. The voucher code will appear as a media note against the product on JDE. Add the following product to your quote, note the instructions in the Product Description.

FAQs for customers WHAT VOUCHERS ARE AVAILABLE?

Customers can purchase vouchers in denominations from £10 upwards for consumables, £20 upwards for service, software, MediCruit and £100 upwards for equipment. They are valid for 6 months. When they

purchase a voucher, they receive an email from our Rewards team informing them of the code they should use when redeeming. If a consumables voucher this can be seen sitting on their account in JDE.

FAQs for customers

WHO CAN APPLY FOR REWARDS?

Practice owners, practice managers (with permission from the Practice Owner) and labs. This programme is open to customers in the UK, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY?

Your Henry Schein account number and your GDC number. If you are an SOE customer and do not have a Henry Schein account, we can set up an account for you – simply call the Rewards team on 0800 083 8559 and we will take you through the process. I HAVE MORE THAN ONE HENRY SCHEIN ACCOUNT- WHAT DO I DO?

If you want all of your Henry Schein accounts merged into one Rewards account, simply register an account as your primary Rewards account, then give the support team a call on 0800 083 8559 and they will do the rest for you. Once you’re on the multi account structure, your Reward vouchers will be allocated to your primary Rewards account by default. The support team can alter this when you order a voucher, just remember to let them know at the time. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR POINTS TO BE ADDED TO MY REWARDS ACCOUNT?

Points are calculated for the whole of the calendar month (irrespective of when customers register), and uploaded monthly to the statement on approximately the 5th of the following month. This is for invoiced orders only from the previous month. CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL POINTS?

No – you are unable to buy additional points. Only points awarded through the scheme can be used towards rewards. WHO DO I CALL FOR HELP?
