On behalf of my team, I welcome you to view the content within these pages. They represent the actualization of our and our client’s dreams. I am grateful every day that my work isn’t just a job. Architecture is a way of living, my passion, and my art. After dedicating many years of partnering at another firm, I decided it was time to build my own team. From the shops you frequent, your neighborhood sidewalk, to your very own family room, architecture should enrich your life and how you live. I started C3 Studio, llc on these principles. I’ve been asked many times, “What are the three C’s in C3 Studio?” The three C’s are simple, but are the foundation of our team and what we strive to achieve every day; Create, Collaborate, and Construct. As a studio our projects encompass a variety of specialties, such as; Residential, Home Additions, Commercial, Interiors, Historic Renovations, and Master Planning. Each area comes with its own exciting challenges and rewards, as does each individual project. I hope that these featured projects bring you as much joy as they have brought to us. Thank you,

Gregory G. Huddy Principal 2 | Preface

RENOVATIONS A thoughtful renovation can modernize and open floor plans, improve curb appeal, increase square footage, and incorporate contemporary features to an older home. An addition or renovation to an existing home is great way to maintain the old while incorporating the new and can transform bland into extraordinary. The team at C3 Studio has experience working with homes of all sizes, shapes, and styles. We also take great pride in working with our clients to understand and actualize their vision while recognizing practical aspects of working with existing structures and budget.

COMMUNITY AMENITY CENTERS CONSUMER ORIENTED DESIGN MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

59

COMMUNITY AMENITY CENTERS Many new residential and mixed-use neighborhoods now have community amenity spaces. Some resemble 5-star resort amenities and feature infinity pools, state of the art fitness centers, spas, community dining rooms with commercial kitchens, golf simulators, theater rooms, and conference centers. The appeal of these amenity centers is they can be used as extensions of the resident’s own living spaces and are on-site, so you can access them within seconds of leaving your home. C3 Studio has worked with communities to deliver elegant, well-designed and thoughtful community driven spaces to be enjoyed by all of the residents.

CONSUMER ORIENTED DESIGN A town or city center is incomplete without shops, restaurants, and offices. A thriving urban environment needs a wide range of uses and spaces to activate the street and bring people together. C3 Studio has a successful history with the programming and design of commercial environments in a variety of spaces and building types. We have the ability to navigate complex building codes and local regulations with high-design and a pragmatic approach to budget and potential.

With each commission, the C3 Studio design team addresses the demographics of the community, requirements of the clients, the unique aspects of the site, and local architectural traditions. Whether an apartment above a shop, a downtown loft, or resort home overlooking the water, C3 Studio designs comfortable and attractive places to call home near work, school, and play.
