*This quote from Goethe has been very meaningful, not just for us, but perhaps for the rest of the world. We always need more lighting in life. We believe that lighting is not limited to the living space of those who use our products. We aim to enlighten our customers and open up new horizons for those who prefer us. We believe that maybe then we will make our contribution, no matter how small, to the enlightenment that Goethe talks about.

MILESTONES 1996

We were established in 1996. We became the leader in the local market in the early 2000’s as a boutique lighting company. Moonlight entered the sector as our first brand.

2002

Our first export.

2004

We started attending the Frankfurt Light&Building Fair. We initiated international collaborations in design, R&D and testing and certification.

2005

Our first world renowned reference project, the 2005 Asian Olympic Games in Doha, Qatar.

2008

We developed our first road lighting product.

2010

We developed our first tunnel lighting product. This product has earned us an important place in the market. We’ve moved to our new plant with 65 thousand ft2 of closed space established on a total area of 130 thousand ft2.


Our story started in 1996, Ankara, Turkey by falling in love with Light. The “family run” company which we have started to develop products for efficient lighting, expanded in time creating the trade names, Heper, Moonlight and Alcopole which in time became leaders illuminating field. Thanks to their design, material quality and manufacturing technology our products are now adding more value to the modern cities of the world. Beautifying the buildings, squares, streets, recreational areas, arenas and airports, which at the end making them vivid & full of life.

2011

We invested in the production of aluminum conical poles - the future of lighting poles. A factory with 430 thousand ft2 of closed space and a total of 215 thousand ft2 was prepared during the first phase. We have created the brand Alcopole for the production of aluminum poles.

2012

The existing laboratories were retrofitted with state of the art technology.

2013

2014

All of the group’s activities were collected under the Heper Group of Companies umbrella.

2016

Capacity and talent building by expansion of laboratory investments. Accreditation works commenced.

2018

The global representation of our brands in the lighting sector were expendent with the opening of our USA company, HEPER USA LLC.

The global representation of our brands in the lighting sector were gathered in a one-stop-shop with HPR Marketing Inc. Our Istanbul, Beirut, and Amman branches started their operations.

‘LIGHT AND CHARGE’ PROJECT Having been a solution partner in the Light and Charge project developed by eluminocity and co-designed with BMW for electric cars, creating solutions for the world’s future brings us one step closer to our goals. As Heper, we achieved the mission: to successfully co-design and manufacture the lighting products in the project. Light and Charge is a significant step for our future. Heper and eluminocity’s engineers developed an extraordinary lighting fixture by working together. The new generation of electric cars will be able to be charged by charge sockets as these lighting fixtures are illuminating the streets.

Technology MILESTONE® LED MODULE STRUCTURE & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Heper’s patented Milestone® LED module is the D-Light’s prominent feature. It is an outcome of Heper’s quest for excellence, incorporating years of multi-disciplinary engineering work. Instead of using standard PCB+LED chip+lens combination, we wanted to think outside the box to achieve a more optimised light distribution. This led us to align the LED chips upwards resulting with an indirect lighting concept. Light is reflected throughout the reflector all the way through. Thus, obtaining a wider bat-wing type of asymmetrical light distribution which is requested for road and street lighting. Light distribution is solely optimised for road lighting in Milestone® LED module. It means optimum lux and uniformity levels for your road classification even with lower number of luminaires used in a project.

DYNO PERFECT LINEAR FORM

DYNO has unique lighting design with special micro-faceted reflector technology to ensure longitudinal glare control with optimized cut-off. Compared to the classical approach, light beams are distributed uniformly in an excellent way. Forward through distribution allows throwing the light 1x distance in horizontal position and 6x distances in vertical position. The special design of DYNO allows to color mixing homogeneously in one reflector cell. High efficiency optical system can be used to mix two different color temperatures in a very precise way to obtain dynamic white and the system is compatible with RGBW color mixing. DYNO is used in such applications as wall washer, ceiling washer, area illumination, facade illumination, space and bollard illumination.

Conventional System


HYBRID PERFECT BEAM ANGLE HYBRID is a special designed optical system which combines the reflector with an additional lens which provides several advantages compared to the classical approach. The system combines high efficiency with minimized luminance in cut-off area. Comparing with the traditional lenses and reflectors, the optics is removable without harming the LEDs. In addition to that, the HYBRID is removable without any tool. HYBRID has narrow and medium light distribution combining with ancillary lenses and multi-facetted micro reflector technology. The system is used in facade illumination, ambient lighting and accent lighting.
