Eric Craig, a political science/mass comm. senior from Los Angeles, CA, placed 3rd in the highly competitive sports photography division of the 2014 ACP Pacemaker awards, considered "the Pulitzers of national collegiate competition." He took this stop-action photo of Xavier University of La. track and field All-American Devinn Rolland in the long-jump.
The Herald was a finalist for the prestigious 2015 Associated Collegiate Press Pacemaker Newspaper Award, the highest honor in national collegiate journalism.
