Number Of Subjects

Most pupils are advised to choose three subjects to study alongside the HCS Diploma, though this is not prescriptive and some may choose to take four subjects at A-Level.

Average Class Size

The average class size in Sixth Form is 7 students allowing for more one-toone time with the teacher. It also means classes progress more quickly and pupils form a strong bond.

The timetable varies according to the subjects taken. Time in Studies can be spent doing independent, supervised study in the Sixth Form Centre, or some students will use this time in specialist department areas, such as Art or DT.
