STUDENT WELL-BEING

SIXTH FORM STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO FULFIL THEIR POTENTIAL AND ARE OFFERED SUPPORT TO OVERCOME ANY CHALLENGES THEY MAY FACE.

Students are allocated a form tutor who will look after them throughout their time in Sixth Form, offering support and guidance. Regular Chapel services delivered by pupils, staff and external speakers give students a time to reflect and offer insight into new areas.

Study Support

We have an outstanding Learning Support Centre dedicated to ensuring students receive the support they require, gain confidence in their abilities and develop strategies to enable them to become and remain independent learners.

SCHOOL NURSES & COUNSELLORS

Our students’ physical and mental well-being are vital to their success at school. All students have access to two school nurses and a school counsellor who offer an indepedent and confidential service on-site.

We also have a highly experienced physiotherapist in school offering physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation, injury prevention strategies and pitch-side management. Our Athletic Development Programme helps keep pupils in top physical condition, too.

Pshe

PSHE is timetabled each week to provide information and guidance, and promote thought about a range of topics. Our aim is to develop thoughtful, compassionate and healthy students with a strong moral compass and the social skills to succeed in the modern world.
