The early, hot summer weather has not discouraged members from participating in our monthly events. We had 35 members playing in the June Super Men’s Day, and at the end of May we had 9 “Super Seniors” competing in their Championship. Congratulations to Jack Schrader who took the title of “Super Senior Champion” for the second time, following a close fought battle with Larry Ernst.

Due to the heat, members were happy to play a revised Super Men’s Day format of 2-Ball Shamble. Winning this month’s event were the team of Bud Henry, Rick Keebaugh, Rick Gorski and Ernie Marsico, with an incredible 20 under par total - Congratulations to all.

A Shout Out and Thanks go to the Course Conditions Committee who carried out a ride around of Robbers in early June, and they will complete Barony shortly. Their effort and report are appreciated and is a valuable input to Jay and Charlie in ensuring the courses are kept in good order and continuously improved.
