“1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3, KJV)

Letting Go...
The angels gathered near your side So very close to you For they knew the pain and suffering That you were going through
I thought about so many things As I held tightly to your hand Oh, how I wished that you were strong And happy once again But your eyes were looking homeward To that place beyond the sky Where Jesus held His outstretched arms
It was time to say good-bye I struggled with my selfish thoughts For I wanted you to stay So we could walk and talk again Like we did…. just yesterday But Jesus knew the answer And I knew you loved Him so So I gave to you life’s greatest gift The gift of letting go
Sherita
I love you Daddy!

From the time I was born, I guess you would know Ten perfect fingers Ten little toes...
A Love Like No Other
When you first put your fingers in my tiny hand that’s when I first knew; You were my Granddaddy no one else would do! As I grew older And reach for the sky My Granddaddy is still there To keep that twinkle in my eye
When I needed someone to hold me You never said I’m too big You picked me up and squeezed me And whispered you’re my little kid Most other people don’t understand me Or maybe just not as well That’s why you’re the one I ran to when I had something to tell I love you Grandaddy As you can see I’m so glad that you will always be a part of me Love,
Ryan
