very now and then, God decides to surprise us, and does something uniquely phenomenal. He creates a one-ofa-kind vessel, carefully blends it with inspiration, talent and skill, and gingerly molds it into an anointed vessel, designed specifically to minister to the hearts and souls of His people. Christopher Robinson is this phenomenal musical gift created by God. Christopher Robinson, a Minister of Music, organist, choir director, teacher, songwriter, soloist, and community activist, has been appointed for a time such as this to teach music that not only inspires, but encourages, uplifts, and heals the spirit and soul of mankind. Christopher is the walking epitome of the term “Minister of Music”. Christopher Robinson is the eldest son of Mr. Freeman Faulkner & Ms. Stevella Faulkner. He has one brother, Freeman Faulkner Jr. and two sisters, Wendy Faulkner and Tiara Faulkner. His parents applied the principle of proverbs 22:6, which says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he’s old he will not depart from it.” Christopher was raised in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He was member of Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Superintendent Albert G. Pass. At Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, Christopher was groomed and prepared for ministry; inspired by Superintendent Pass and Minister of Music, Elder Alfred Lynn Ivy. Christopher played an active part in the music ministry as choir member, soloist, choir director, and musician.
the church. In the same year Christopher was appointed Assistant Minister of Music in the Holly Springs District #11 in the Northern Mississippi Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. In 1999, Christopher’s assignment at Finley Grove church came to an end. In May of the same year, he became the Minster of Music at Hurts Chapel C.M.E. Church under the leadership of Reverend Steve Mayhorn and later Reverend Eddie Jumper. God continued to open doors. While in ministry at Hurts Chapel and Christ Agape, Christopher was appointed District Minister of Music of the J.O. Patterson Sr. Memorial District under the leadership of Bishop Dickerson L.S. Wells. In 2004, the Lord gave Christopher a vision to combine all the choirs he had worked with and form the All Saints Mega Music Workshop. This became an annual fellowship of choirs, musicians, praise and worship ministries of all denominations coming together to be empowered, inspired, and motivated for Kingdom building. In 2006 Christopher accepted the position as Minister of Music at Anointed Temple of Praise Outreach Ministries, Inc., under the leadership of Reverend Thomas L. Murray. There, he oversaw the Music and Arts department, which was comprised of nearly 100 staff members and volunteers. Christopher has worked and conducted countless workshops for many churches across the tri-state area (Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas). He also helped establish a community choir founded by Elder Alfred L. Ivy named the Agape Praise Chorale. He has accompanied several gospel artists such as: Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Lamar Campbell, Bettye Nelson, Iris Stevenson and LaShun Pace –Holmes. Christopher’s purpose is tri-fold. He has fully embraced his mission to carry the gospel in song . Through Christopher, God continues to pour out His Spirit. His dedication to the body of Christ and limitless love of God, places Christopher in a unique position to minister the “Good News” of Jesus Christ.
Christopher began his journey in 1995 as the minister of music for Finley Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of Reverend James Green. There his musical gifts began to flourish. In 1996 Christopher graduated from Holly Springs High School and in the fall of the same year, attended Northeast Community College. In 1998 he attended Rust College and majored in Music Education. While in school, his musical gifts didn’t go unnoticed. Christopher was appointed as Minister of Music for the award winning Rust College Baptist Student Union (BSU) Choir.
