n May 14, 2014, Darius and Sydne first laid eyes on each other at two of their best friends’ wedding. Darius found the courage to ask Sydne out after the rehearsal dinner. Sydne was reluctant, but still exchanged numbers with him. After months of calling and trying to take her out, she finally gave in, and long story short... two years later she moved to Memphis to be with him. Ready to start putting down roots, they adopted two babies, Jaxson and Major, along with buying a house for them to enjoy spending time together, and teaching their new dogs old tricks. The proposal May 28, 2016 on the eve of Sydne’s sister’s high school graduation, they flew to Denver where Darius proposed to Sydne in front of family and friends.
