O
nce upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, there was a cherub by the name of Kingston Amir. With dimpled cheeks and eyes that twinkled like diamonds, he was blessed with a unique gift for spreading joy wherever his tiny footprints allowed him to go. Kingston was very precious to God, so it was no surprise that God hand-picked him for a special mission. While waiting to get his wings, his assignment was to touch the lives of people on Earth who really needed joy!
One day, while playing with the other angels, Kingston saw a bus passing by. He was instantly fascinated by the motion of the wheels! In fact, he gave a big smile as the wheels on the bus went around and around...all through the town. Seeing this, God decided that Kingston was finally ready for his big adventure!
On October 18, 2018, at 1:46 in the afternoon, the bus safely transported him to Baptist Women’s Hospital in a little town called Memphis. At 7 pounds/8.8 ounces, he arrived on Earth as a healthy baby boy. Ronald Young and Keianna Hatchett were carefully chosen to care for God’s little angel for the duration of his journey, and Erik Riley, Jr. was chosen to be his big brother and best friend. Kingston loved them and brought joy to their lives in a way that only he could.

hile on Earth, little Kingston learned to walk and speak like a big boy!
Some of his favorite words were mama, dada, Erik (pronounced “Ewik”), juice, bacon, milk, French fries, more, grangran, YaYa, and “come on,” just to name a few. He learned to use digital devices and prepare his own cheese toast for the oven. He was proud to be able to do things all by himself!
Each time he accomplished something, he clapped for himself and encouraged everyone around him to clap along. He also made a special effort to clap for others when they did things well! He also loved to sing. Though he often made up his own lyrics, there was one song that Kingston knew word for word! It EXCITED him whenever someone sang “The Wheels on the Bus! In fact, he would often request for them to sing it again after initiating a thunderous round of applause.
Soon, everyone who met him applauded because God’s little angel had touched their lives in an amazing way! Just as God had intended, Kingston’s presence caused people to experience joy...all through the town. So, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, God drove the bus back to Earth to ensure the safe return of Kingston Amir Young to the beautiful Kingdom of Heaven. God was so pleased with His little angel that He rewarded Kingston with his very own set of wings! Kingston smiled and clapped as he took his seat on the bus. With a radiant smile and his brand new wings, Kingston went back to Heaven. He had finished what he was sent to Earth to do!
The Driver on the bus said, “Let’s go home! Let’s go home! Let’s go home!” The angels on the bus said, “We’ve missed you!” all through the town. The people left behind said “We love you! We love you! We love you!” Then the people said, “WE’LL MISS YOU, TOO!” all through the town.
