Life Reflections
Willie Raymond Clark was born to the late Saul Clark and Freadie Ester Clark on August 11, 1959, in Collierville, Tennessee. He departed this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Willie accepted Christ at an early age at New Wrights Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a 1977 graduate of Northside High School. At a young age, he developed a passion for transmissions, leading him to become a hard-working mechanic and acquiring the nickname “Transmission.” On March 25, 1989, Willie was united in holy matrimony to the late Marilyn Ann Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Ann Clark; his mother, Freadie Ester Clark; his father, Saul Clark; and one sister, Lois Gordon. To cherish his sweet memory, he leaves four sons: Mario Clark (Dominique), Travis Clark (Lakishia), Raymond Johnson Sr., and Lorenzo Clark, all of Memphis, TN; one daughter: Miranda Clark of Memphis, TN; five brothers: Jessie Clark (Betty Ann), Curtis Clark (Sheila) both of Memphis, TN, Terry Stewart, Michael Beason, and Fred Beason; and three sisters Eula Artison(Rev. Arbrie) of Memphis, TN, Debra Banks, and Mary Myles; four aunts, one uncle, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and the residents of the Binghampton and Orange Mound community who will honor his legacy forever.
