Chapter 1: No Longer Enslaved Romans 6:16 says:

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield

yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

One might ask, “What does that have to do with healing?” Let me show you. The key is contained in the statement “to whom you yield yourself to serve, or to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey.”

The Amplified Bible says, "If you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slave of him."

The New Living translation says, "Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey?" That is pretty powerful, isn't it? "Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey?"

I presented Romans 6:16 to you

regarding divine health because you have the say so of your body.

In other words, you have the right to say to the flu when it knocks at your door, "Not this house. You need to go to another."

I want to show you something in the lesson that will help you in the days to come. I am sharing from what I have learned through the scriptures and personal application. I am not telling you anything that doesn't work.

I have proven time and time again that it works.

Lesson 1 However, you must personally get this revelation yourself. You cannot walk this out by my revelation. You must get hold of it yourself.

The scripture is saying here that if you yield yourself to sickness, disease, pain, or symptoms, you become their slave. Next you have to take medicine because you have yielded to the symptom. You are hurting, you think you are going to die, and possibly you might. You yielded to the demonic attack by believing it more than the Word.

Now I know this, because I have thought these thoughts myself, until I learned better. You might argue, "But I have no control of that.

It's a sickness. It's a thing that comes on me. I don't want it to come on me, it just comes on me." Maybe that's what you surmise, but I've got good news today. The Gospel is good news. It's only good news. There is no bad news in the Gospel.

The good news is since Jesus came, He went to the cross at Calvary, He defeated satan, arose from the dead, then gave you authority. This authority means you now possess the right and ability to say "No" to sickness and disease in your life. Even though it is an outside force that seems impossible to do anything about since it just comes and goes from time to time and attacks you without doing anything to attract it.

I'm going to tell you how you can walk in this. The first thing to learn is how satan has been able to deceive you. You have been sold a bill of goods telling you that you have to have it, so if the flu knocks on your door, you just surrender to it. You ‘yield’ yourself to it. That makes you become a slave to it. It is because you don't know any better.

Divine Health You just think that is the way life is. There is sickness out there and if somebody coughs on me I may get it. Wrong! Not if you learn who you are in Christ. People can cough on you all they want.

They can use

your phone while sniffling and sneezing all they want; it won't come near you! They will drop like flies around you with the bug, and they may use your phone, or shake your hand, but no plague comes near you as you stand in faith.

Knowing who you are in Christ, you now say to that bug, "You can't come near my dwelling. It is written. No weapon, no disease, no sickness formed against me shall prosper.” It is written. “Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that's within, who forgave all my wrongdoing and healed all, all, all, all my diseases.”

The Bible doesn’t say "some of them," even though the stubborn symptoms are screaming that they are not leaving. The word says all of them. Either my body is lying or the word of God is lying, one or the other. Then who is lying?

That's a strong word, but Jesus said the

devil is a liar. Once you understand that the Devil is a liar and his symptoms are lies, you will begin to walk in victory.

Please understand what I am saying from Romans 6:16. Know ye not, or don't you realize (however you want to say it in your terminology) don't you understand, that if for the least bit of a second you begin to obey that lying symptom that satan plants on your body, if you accept it, embrace it, or confess it, you become a slave to it. I am writing this to set you free, because the Truth will make you free! You don't have to be a slave anymore.

Chapter 2: You Have the Power "Know ye not, that to whom you yield yourself," means you have the power to yield yourself or not. Now, trust me, I understand when pain comes into your body it's no laughing matter. It's very difficult to say “No� to it when you continue to hurt. You are hurting and it is not easy when pain is so persistent. It is very difficult to look into the eyes of a physician and He announces to you bad news. If you yield to it and you embrace it and you say okay to it, accepting it, then you start confessing it, you are then a slave to it, and it will treat you like a slave until it takes you out.

I am telling you this because you are above these lies of satan.

That's what Deuteronomy says, you are above and not beneath; you are the head, you're no longer the tail. You are victorious. The greater one lives in you. Satan has lied to you, but the truth will make you free.

The truth will make you free. Praise the Lord.

His servants we are to whom we obey. Amplified says, if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone, to satan, the symptom, or the disease, to do his will; in other words, if you pamper it, cater to it, believe it is in there, then you are the slave of it. Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose? We must choose life.

It is a choice, choose life.

Let me explain why you have the right to do this. Because if you don't have the foundation of a proper understanding as to why you

Lesson 1 have authority to say these things, you won't say them. I've had people leave the church because I said, "I'll never be sick another day in my life." Because I made that statement, we actually had people leave the church. They said, "How can he say that? He doesn't know whether he will get sick or not." Yes, I do. Glory to God. Because I'm saying what God says.

Do you mean you never get sick Pastor Chuck? That is correct, I never get sick. You mean to say to me you never have any symptoms?

I didn't say that. What I am saying is I am not going to be a slave anymore. I know I have the right to choose and I choose not to be a slave to sickness anymore.

You see, for many years I was a slave. Yes, I was. I mean, I got the flu every time it came around. I would call for it by saying. "It's that season, I'm going to get it." And here it came. Not anymore! I didn't know then what I know today. Because I have learned these Biblical truths I don't miss work or get sick anymore. I don't get the stomach bug. I don't get the stuffy nose. I just don't get that anymore.

I'm not going to get it either. Thank you, Jesus.

Now, I do not say this in a boasting manner. I saying it to give glory to the Lord. In fact, I want to take you there too. I want you to go to the same place. That is why we have this teaching. You can be sure I didn't get there overnight, it took years. Years of battling fear when attacked. I can remember when I was battling some alarming symptoms in my body. Each time the symptoms would appear the devil would

Divine Health say, "You're going to die. You better go to the doctor, you're going to die."

And I finally said back to him, "Well, if I'm going to die and I go to the doctor, what can the doctor do? If I'm going to die, if this is terminal, I'm terminal and I'm just going to a better place anyway. I'm not afraid to die. I'm not at my time to go yet, I still have work to do.

But I'm surely not afraid to go since it's much better over there than it is here."

I was having a battle in my life and I had to make decisions.

One of the biggest obstacles he presents is fear. Satan would tell me, “if you don't do something, then you are going to die.� Then he mentally plays out the scenario of all the negative things he says are going to happen.

I have heard that they have proven 99 percent of fear never

comes about. It's just in your mind. This was a major challenge that I had to overcome in order to get the victory.

The time I was facing fear, I continued having alarming symptoms in my body, and I made a decision. I am not saying that you have to go the same route I went, because you have to deal with these things based on your faith in the Word.

I can't be the Holy Spirit for

you, I'm just sharing my testimony as to how God led me. I was willing to die if it took it to prove the word of God correct in my heart and life.

Now, I'm not telling you nor encouraging you to do that. This is how I personally chose to handle it; I literally was faced with thinking I was going to die or else I had to get well. My options were to go to the doctor and get treated, or I could go to the Gos-pill and receive Chuck Kennedy-6

Lesson 1 treatments. My choice was God’s Word which is always true. I've settled that mentally, now I've got to settle it physically. Mentally this Word is true to me. He said, “By his stripes I was healed,” but yet physically I am hurting.

So mentally I'm agreeing that, "Yes, I am healed," but physically my body is dragging me down. And I had to say to my body, "Body, I don't care what you do because I'm going with God on this one. And you're going to have to get in order, because God cannot lie. He's truth, He cannot lie." Let every man be a liar, let everything be a liar, let every experience be a lie, but God is true. (See Romans 3:4) And just because my little puny life doesn't line up in this battle doesn't mean God is in the wrong, it just means I missed it somewhere. I realize both the world system and the religious system make excuses for sickness by telling you, "You have to live with it.

God is teaching you something," or “God is showing you something,” or “Maybe it's your infirmity in life and God gets glory out of your infirmities.” But I'm here to tell you that is garbage. Throw it away.

It will keep you a slave to sickness and disease.

The Word is very clear from Genesis to Revelations that God wants his people well. But it's also very clear that Satan gets some kind of sadistic enjoyment out of tormenting you with disease and sickness, and ultimately killing you. You must make the decision to say "No" to satan, to all those things that try to enslave your life, and say "Yes" to God.

Divine Health Again going back to when I came into all this, I was in pain along with alarming symptoms and the pain did not go away the first day that I made this decision. I didn't even get out of pain the first month. The Devil fights hard, but he's a loser. He already lost at Calvary.

This was not an overnight miraculous event saying.

I wish I

could tell you it was that easy. That is why many people flock to miracle meetings. There's nothing wrong with miracle services, but the reason they flock to the miracle crusades is because they think, they are going to get a miracle and be well. But the problem is when you check up on many of them, within a few days the same symptoms are back because they have no idea how to walk in faith. Their faith was in the miracle ministry of the man or woman of God instead of the Word of God. Miracle ministries are good; God uses them to bring in the lost people. They're actually intended to show the world that God is real by the miracle signs and wonders that attract the lost. But to the church it's a little different. We are supposed to be mature in these things by practice until we are skillful enough in the Word of God that it works for us every day, every hour, every second, for the rest of our lives, on planet earth.

Chapter 3: This is Serious Business Ultimately it took about five years before I got completely free.

It would leave for a while and come back. He is an ornery Devil, it would leave and I'd say, "Praise God." This all happened while I was learning to walk in the divine health already provided.

I would say,

“Praise God, I've got victory. I'm healed," and then all of a sudden it would show back up. Same thing. Same lies.

Is that God's fault or my fault? It's not ever God's fault. The scripture in Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." The problem was I didn't have real knowledge of who Jesus is. I knew he was my Savior, I acknowledged He was "my Healer," but unless there is a revelation of him actually having healed my body, it is still just mental knowledge. I can confess it. I can Amen it. I can agree with it. I can shout for it. I can like to be around it. But I'll die if it hasn't dropped from my head to my heart. This is serious business.

Well, the only way to get that is by action. James said, "I must be a doer of the Word and not a hearer." Okay. So the doing of it consistently will bring about an experience, a skillful knowledge of it, a revelation that nobody can teach you and nobody can take away from you. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Before you got saved you probably thought Christians were all pretty silly. You know, going to church, giving our money and loving

Lesson 1 one another when we don't really know each other. But when you actually confessed with your mouth His Lordship and believed in your heart that He was raised from the dead, the light came on. There was a revelation.

That is the place I'm trying to get you to regarding divine health, for the light to come on.

I can show you without question in the

scriptures you are divinely healed. I don't care what you were born with, I don't care how many generational curses you want to pull out of your bag, or whatever else you want to come up with. When you become a Christian, you are born again, free from all those things.

Satan will not want to let go of you. Remember, it took me five years to understand these truths during that one particular incident. So if you'll just catch the glimpse, the light at the end of the tunnel, if you just catch the hope of it so you will pursue it and not give up, then you can have it. It is yours.

You can walk in this victory. Maybe you're thinking, "How can I be free from this disease?" Trust me, better yet, trust God. You are free. You really are free; you just don't know it yet because the Devil has been lying to you.

I want you to know I love the saints of God very much. I would do anything to help you. When you're sick, it hurts me. When someone tells me, "I'm in pain. I've got this, I've got that," then I'm right there with them because we are family in Christ.

Those of you who are parents know when your child gets sick you're right there with them. You can't stand it. Well, I'm telling you, Chuck Kennedy-10

Divine Health we are in this together. When one of us is having a problem, we are in it together. I am further telling you that if you will study these teachings and apply them in your life, they will transform you.

Satan rules by deception. Please understand that. If he can make you believe -- and he's very crafty at making it look so appropriate, so religious, so churchy, while it is so totally wrong.

Religion is a devil; you must understand that. Religion killed Jesus in his day and has not changed, it is a devil. That's why I want you to be free. The freer, the better. We are not religious. We are free in Jesus!

Chapter 4: The Law of the Spirit of Life Has Made Me Free Hosea 4, verse 6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

Consider this, if you choose to be a slave of the devil, sickness, or disease, then God is bound on the other hand to do according to His Word. So if you reject God, it's not that he's rejecting you because he doesn't love you, it's because you are rejecting Him. He's not going to force you to come his way. If you choose to believe the most bodacious lie on planet earth, even though it's a bodacious lie, God is not going to intervene by forcing you to renounce it. You're going to have to get some light and break the hold of it by revelation knowledge.

Hosea 4:6 goes on to say, "Seeing you've forgotten the law of your God." Now, with that in mind, look over in Romans 8, verse 2.

Remember, Hosea 4:6 says we've forgotten the law of our God, but here in Romans 8:2 it says, "For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath, hath made me free from the law! We are free in Jesus.

But you see, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge," when they actually have this verse instead, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made them free from the curse, or better known as sickness and disease.� That is what the Bible says.

Lesson 1 Romans 8:11, but "If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us.� Think about that power. Think about that power that made a man dead three days come up alive again. Halleluiah!

There is no earthly power to match that. There's no atomic, nuclear power to match what God Almighty’s power can do. It raised Jesus from the dead and that power now lives in your body.

What can

sickness do to you anymore?

Praise God. And you are healed. No more sickness. No more disease. No more pain. We're not going to yield our bodies to it anymore. Out, Devil. Out, Devil. In the name of Jesus? Halleluiah!
