She Used to be My Journey from the Old Order Amish to Christian Pro-Abortion But By Brother Samuel Miller
July 17, 1974, I was born into an “old order Amish” family and expected to be Amish my entire life. The first 19 or 20 years I did so. But along the way I began to have questions and wanted answers. My mom and dad were devout Amish and expected the same of me. But my Uncle Dave was Christian and used to come visit us along with my cousins, his children. They were different than us. It was very obvious, and I became curious. Uncle Dave and his family would do things like hug one another and they were loving and happy. They displayed a freedom I longed for. My father passed away in 2005 but my mom is still living and still Amish. I was rejected by them at first, maybe the first two years or so. They were upset at me for leaving and I was uncomfortable going around them in my English clothes and driving my car. A good Amish wears black with a white shirt and black hat, not these modern English clothes I now wore. Some families require their children to still wear traditional dress when they come visit from outside the Amish ranks, but my mom and dad did not. Phones were not permitted either, although it has gotten a little more lenient today. There were lots of questions due to the strict governance by condemnation and force. So much so that it finally pushed me out. The final straw came when I went to the horse races, which was taboo, and they wanted me to confess in front of the church my sin. I was unwilling and felt condemned and pressured. Instead of helping me to get closer to the Lord, they in essence drove me away with their strict

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Miller requirements. There was just no freedom. Ended up I told them I was going to the bathroom and took the opportunity to walk through the barn and then across the field. I never looked back. I called my friend to come pick me up and off I went. Like a calf let loose that had been corralled way too long, I was free!! Or at least I thought I was. Then came the rejection by the local folks for leaving the Amish. I was ostracized and made to feel very alone. It seemed I was being judged everywhere I went, and I was becoming more and more confused. However, in the confusion I began to search. Search for something more, something real. Uncle Dave and his family invited me to their church, Grace Christian Fellowship. My first impression was amazement. These people were joyful in church and not angry or judgmental. They were raising their hands and praising God with smiles on their faces. Some even danced in the Spirit as they wor-
shipped. I thought to my self, “the Amish don’t do this!” These church people told me how happy there to see me and I did not even have to wear my tradition black and white clothes with my black hat! Uncle Dave’s wife, in persuading me to come, informed me the Amish traditional clothes were not necessary in Grace Church. The people were so loving. What a contrast to what I had always known and experienced in the Amish faith. They seemed to always be scolding and punishing. What a difference I experienced, and I enjoyed it. Still, I was searching, even though I enjoyed the church services, there were many times of rejection as I went about my life otherwise. Some people would not even say hello as I passed. I still needed answers. My typical routine was to go to work, come home, watch TV, which I never was able to do before. I would watch the news, then Jerry Seinfeld and then the 700 Club. Pregnancy resource centers exist thanks to the gift of time and effort of our volunteers. At Women First Pregnancy Options on Long Island, I’m often the one to interview people who express interest in helping out. I’ve always found it interesting to ask new volunteers what prompted their interest in pro-life work. Rarely have I heard that it’s just for something to do, or that it was a random pick of charities or non-profits to give time to. Every person I’ve asked this has a reason, and some of those reasons involve very interesting journeys. A few months back I met Ariel, a bright and friendly young woman of 26. We chatted about how she learned about our centers, all the various ways we help pregnant women, and her available hours. Then she shared her dramatic conversion story. Growing up, both Ariel’s parents were Christian, but faith and moral issues weren’t a topic of conversation. She remembers her grandmother sharing with her that she’d had two abortions, “for medical reasons,” and that left an impression of general acceptance of abortion. In middle school and high school, “everyone was sexually active,” she said, and chats with her friends included the assumption that if one of them got pregnant, they’d naturally “just abort it because it’s just tissue.” After high school, Ariel’s mother recommitted herself to Christ. With Ariel having absorbed all the pro-abortion rhetoric a few conversations about the abortion issue led to dead-
ends with her now pro-life mother. Gradually Ariel got involved with the occult and tarot cards, “creating her own reality,” which lasted at least seven years. At 24 she dated a lukewarm Catholic who had a Bible and took her to Mass. “The Lord was working in me through him,” she said, “showing me a different way of life with Jesus at the center.” While that relationship ended, Ariel found herself curious about the Bible and went and bought her her own. At first, she’d look up Scripture for certain things, like psalms for sadness. “There was something about the Bible that I’d never felt before that attracted me,” she said, “although I didn’t know why at that point.” After a while, the Bible reading fell by the wayside, but Ariel was left with an uncertainty about the way she’d been living. “I was feeling hesitant about my abortion convictions and the promiscuous way I’d been living,” Ariel said. Then two years ago, she hit a real low point. A period of anxiety, fear, and depression along with friendships falling apart left her feeling she was mentally deteriorating. “All the guys I thought would be “it” – weren’t,” she recalled. “I had no sense of self, no identity, I felt useless and hopeless, and like, ‘what am I doing, why am I here, who am I?’” She spent hours crying in her room. “I realize now I was being called to something,” Ariel.. Peter uses the word in referring to the place of judgment for evil angels. “For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell [Tartarus] and delivered them into chains of darkness reserved for judgment; and did not
spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example in those who afterward would live ungodly”. 2 Peter 2:4-6. There are many spirits bearing the name of Abaddon who are walking about theworld today. There are many spirits of antichrist (against Christ) today, although the Antichrist has not made his appearance yet. 1John 4:3. These spirits are a large, disciplined mass movement ready to destroy everything in their path,

causing pride, dissatisfaction, self-centered lifestyles veneered by religious exercises as described in Job 31:1-12 and 1John 2:16. Mankind is being deceived by increased knowledge (Daniel 12:4, et al) and hasleft God out of the entire picture. Predictably, rebellion (witchcraft), love of self, and disdaining of authority prevail today. 2Timothy 3:2-4 As Christians we have the authority to bind evil things here on earth and to release blessings from Heaven – yes, even in the midst of ungodly happenings. Mathew 18:18. The world may walk in falsehood and vanity and moral impurity which leads to control by Satan. But…Christian believers, hear the Good News! There are three attributes of believers with which Satan will have nothing to do. These three are Praise toward God; remembering His faithfulness, and remembering His lovingkindness! I was watching the 700 club and Terry Meeuwsen had a word of knowledge where she saw a young man wearing red sweats (which I was wearing) and he was seeking God while on his knees praying. That was exactly me! I was in the red sweats and had knelt to say a prayer. I knew it was God talking to me. It was supernatural. The room filled with His holy presence and the power of God touched me. I was born again that evening! That night I
truly was set free, and I knew it. Later Uncle Dave encouraged me to attend the Christian Retreat Institute of Ministry in Bradenton and I did. I am so blessed as I look back on where I came from and where God has brought me to today. I did not have a degree, but I have traveled Canada and The United States with my own Diesel rig in the business God has blessed me with. I thank God for His grace and mercy. He rescued me and gave me true life, life everlasting. He also brought me a beautiful bride, Tess, all the way from the Philippines and
she is the love of my life. We now travel everywhere together and give God all the praise. My favorite scripture is Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Since I met the Lord Jesus, I am free, there are no limits. Thank you Jesus.

Miller says one man they spoke with “shared that Jesus woke him up and told him that he was on the wrong path. Ever since then, the man had been searching for the true way.” In the last month, Jesus Film Project saw 109 people begin relationships with Jesus Christ as a direct result of this online ministry! Nine members of the Air Force are suing the government after officials denied their requests for religious exemptions from the Defense Department’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement. In effect, denial of exemptions for religious reasons and discriminatory treatment force Air Force members to leave the service, said Mike Berry, director of military affairs at First Liberty Institute, which represents the nine service members. “At a time of instability and ever-increasing threats around the world, you’d think the Pentagon would want every service member at their post,” Berry said in a press release. “But instead, military leaders are forcing tens of thousands of our bravest out of the service because they’ve chosen to live according to their faith.” The nine service members who filed suit range from an F-16 fighter pilot to the chief of training for a flying training group. Their complaint, which names Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall, and the
Defense Department, argues that the Pentagon’s actions violate the First Amendment, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, and the Pentagon’s own regulations. “We have a very small number of just plain refusers [of the COVID-19 vaccine],” Kendall said Wednesday during a Heritage Foundation event called “A Conversation on Readiness with the Secretary of the Air Force.” “These are people who just won’t obey a lawful order,” Kendall, who wasn’t specifically addressing the lawsuit, said. “If you’re going to be in the military, you’re going to have to follow orders.” Neither the Defense Department nor the Air Force responded to The Daily Signal’s request for comment on the lawsuit. Washington-based law firm Schaerr Jaffe LLP and First Liberty Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to defending religious freedom, represent the nine service members in alleging religious discrimination in their lawsuit against the Pentagon’s vaccine mandate.
The nine service members seek a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction prohibiting the defense secretary and the secretary of the Air Force from taking adverse action against those who request a religious exemption or don’t submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Their main argument is that the Defense Department’s actions are discriminatory since they “substantially burden” the free exercise of religion and haven’t been proven to be the least restrictive means of fulfilling any “compelling governmental interest” in curbing the spread of COVID-19. The Defense Department offers three types of exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate: medical, administrative, and religious. But in practice, “only service members with medical or administrative reasons for an exemption from the mandate are accommodated,” the nine Air Force members’ suit alleges. “Religious accommodation requests (“RARs”) are universally.. From Page 4 ...denied unless the requester is already imminently leaving the Air Force.” The Air Force has granted 1,800 medical and administrative requests for exemptions from the vaccination requirement, compared to only 81 out of 11,877 requests for religious accommodation. All 81 granted requests went to service members who already were exiting the Air Force, according to the lawsuit. “We have some people who requested a religious exemption. We’re processing those through, and there’s a two-step process,” Kendall said Wednesday at the Heritage event, adding: Basically, is it a wellfounded belief that you have? Generally, we’re being generous with people on that in terms of what we’re requiring to demonstrate that. But the problem is if you have a well-founded belief, we’d like to accommodate you if we can, but we need people to be deployed. And if you can’t be deployed, you may not be able to stay in the Air Force. We’ve got a few thousand people in that category that we’re working through; it’s a very
small fraction of the Air Force. The lawsuit says that the service members’ religious objections to the vaccine include “opposition to abortion and the use of fetal cell lines in development of the vaccine,” “belief that the mRNA technology utilized in some COVID-19 vaccines usurps God’s creation of the human genome,” and belief that “the body is a temple and taking the vaccine would defile that temple.” The suit says that besides denial of their religious exemptions, the Air Force members experienced other forms of discrimination by the Defense Department. “Plaintiffs have lost promotions that had already been announced, received official discipline, been barred from training opportunities, and placed in a no-pay status,” the suit argues. The nine plaintiffs represent the approximately 3% of Air Force members who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the complaint notes. From Page 1 ... said. “I just kept thinking about Jesus, even though I said to myself I didn’t want to be a Christian – they’re (supposedly) homophobic, hateful, and bigoted.” “But the attraction to Jesus continued,” Ariel said. “No one I knew besides my mother was Christian, but it was like a knocking on the door, the Lord calling my name, and it got louder and louder.” One night through her questioning and tears, Ariel spoke to God. “I just looked up and said, Jesus I’m yours,” she said. “I heard an audible voice say, ‘Come with me and sin no more.'” When she woke up the next morning, Ariel found that all the anxiety and in security were gone, and everything seemed different. “The colors were more vibrant, the birds sounded different,” she said, “even my hands looked different.” “The reality I was living in apart from Christ left me dead,” Ariel said. “But now that my reality came alive,” she said, “I knew right away that abortion was wrong. I wanted everyone to know that witchcraft is wrong, heaven and hell are real, abortion is murder, and that Jesus really did rise from the dead. I completely changed into a new person, literally over
night!” Ariel put her new love of God into reading the Bible, going to church, listening to sermons, and being vocal about spiritualism and radical progressivism. While a number of people said she seemed calmer and more settled, some old friends resented her new life and called her a bigot. A wiccan attacked her online. “I was calling out BLM and witchcraft, but I hadn’t become vocal on pro-life issues yet,” she said. “But the more I read the Bible the more I was unafraid. God was giving me a spirit of strength.” Her Christian pastor found her a mentor who happened to pray at Planned Parenthood now and then. A recently released confidential document reveals that a startling majority of in utero babies died after pregnant women were injected with the Pfizer vaccine. Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT) requested documents related to vaccine licensing via a Freedom of Information Act Request, then sued the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In early January 2022, a federal judge ordered the FDA incrementally release the documents it claimed would take decades to process. PHMPT has posted Pfizer’s confidential documents as they have become available. In the most recent release, on May 2, 2022, a document titled ‘reissue_5.3.6 postmarketing experience.pdf’ disclosed on page 12 that by February 8, 2021, 270 women had received the mRNA injection during pregnancy. But 238 cases were apparently not followed (“no outcome provided”). And, therefore, the pregnancy outcomes for those women are unknown. Among those 34 pregnancies that are known, the report indicates that

The mere fact that 88% of the pregnant women injected were not followed throughout their pregnancies is deeply concerning since 124 of the 270 pregnant women had some type of adverse reaction (49 nonserious, 75 serious) according to page 12 of the same document.

Only one outcome was reported as normal, and the remaining five were reported as “pending.” In analyzing Pfizer’s own data, it is clear that 82% – 97% of the documented pregnancy outcomes resulted in death. (The 15-point variation is dependent on the final outcome of those in the “outcome pending” category.) “This report confirms information we released last year,” said Operation Rescue president Troy Newman. “We look forward to seeing some kind of accountability put in place for those responsible for hiding this crucial data from the public.”

Madeline Duffany The day after Mother’s Day, May 9, 2022, my daughter called to say my granddaughter was in hospital, because someone had put a deadly substance in a drink which she ordered at a night club where she went to meet friends. She fell on the floor in convulsions and passed out. She could have died right there. But thank God for his mercy. One of her friends called an ambulance and she was rushed to an emergency room. Her blood pressure was very low. I went with my daughter to the hospital and saw my granddaughter in a bed hooked up to an intravenous drip. The nurse came in and said that they were goingto keep her longer because her blood pressure was too low. As I hugged my granddaughter I silently prayed. I had also asked Holy Spirit to fill me so full that I wouldn’t have to say a word. My granddaughter had told her Mom that she didn’t want grandma praying over her and making a scene. We had to wear masks, so as I prayed in tongues quietly, no one saw or heard me. Slowly the color returned to my granddaughter, and we took her home. Be encouraged! We can lay hands on the sick and they will recover! Mark 16:17-18. “And

As I sought the Lord for a Word for you, I felt the Holy Spirit give me one word, “HOPE.” He also gave me Psalm 27:1-8 amp, says, “The LORD is my light and my Salvation-whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked even my enemies and my foes, come upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumble and fell. Though a host encamp me, my heart shall not fear, though war arises against me, (even then) in this will I be confident. One thing I have asked of the Lord, that I will seek, inquire for, and (insistently) require that I may dwell in the house of the Lord (in His Presence) all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty (the sweet at tractiveness and the delightful loveliness) and to
meditate, consider, and inquire in the temple. For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; In the Secret Place of His tent He will hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. Planned Parenthood Sues to Block Florida Law Banning Abortions on Babies After 15 Weeks

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has filed suit to block the pro-life law Governor Ron DeSantis recently signed that bans abortions on babies after 15 weeks. The law is estimated to save as many as 5,000 babies from abortions but that’s millions of dollars in lost profit for the nation’s biggest abortion company, so it filed suit today hoping to overturn the law. The law was set to go into effect July 1 but the abortion giant is hoping to block the law while its lawsuit proceeds. The Florida Senate passed a historic pro-life bill in April to protect unborn babies by banning abortions after 15 weeks. The state Senate voted 23-15 along party lines to give final approval of the Reducing Fetal and Infant Mortality Act (House Bill 5). The ACLU filed the suit for Planned Parenthood
and tweeted notice of the lawsuit today. “The ban also threatens to put doctors in jail for providing essential care beyond that point. Florida, we’ll see you in court,” it says. “The ban would have a devastating effect on abortion access in a state where access is already restricted. Resulting barriers will force Floridians to remain pregnant against their will, endangering their families, health, and lives.” However, banning aboritons doesn’t make women get pregnant and plenty of options are available to protect pregnancy. “No person can truly call themselves free if they can’t make decisions about their own body,” Stephanie Fraim said. Fraim is the president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida. “This law is an attack on
our freedom,” she said. “We should stand up and say you cannot control me, you cannot take my freedom away from me. We need this health care.” When he signed the bill, DeSantis said the state needs to protect defenseless unborn children. “We’re here today to protect life,” Governor DeSantis said at a large ceremony to sign the bill. “We’re here today to defend those who can’t defend themselves.” The governor said the bill “protects the rights of unborn children starting at 15 weeks. This is a time where these babies have beating hearts. They can move, they can taste, they can see, they can feel pain, they can suck their thumb, and they have brain waves.” “Life is a sacred gift worthy of our protection, and I am proud to sign this great piece of legislation

Kelli Stargel, R-Lakeland, according to Politico. “God is so good.” Democrat lawmakers and pro-abortion groups slammed the bill as “cruel” and “a direct assault on the people of Florida and our constitutional rights,” according to the report. 2022 /Christian Newswire/ -- The U.S. Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) failed to provide any evidence to back up its claim that the COVID-19 vaccines are not driving virus variants. This admission follows a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the non-profit Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN). Despite high vaccine coverage and the simultaneous occurrence of ever-emerging variants, the CDC has continued to assert that it is a "myth" that "COVID-19 vaccines cause variants." This article is about access control systems and the wide variety of features of these advanced systems. One of these features might have mitigated the shooter entering the building. The typical access control system uses mechanical strike plates or magnets to hold the door locked until a card key is presented or numeric code entered that has been programed to unlock the door for several seconds. The system can be programmed to let only certain people enter between certain times of day, unlock/lock the door during certain times, etc. What if I told you that a common feature of access control systems is to send an alarm if a door is open (or propped open) too long (Door Open Too Long or DOTL setting). This setting is used to tell whoever is monitoring the system (or alarm sent via text, etc.) that the door has been open longer than the setting, typically 10 seconds or so. To enable this feature the door must have a door contact connected to the system. This contact is the same contact that alerts the system that the door has been opened in the event of an unauthorized entry like that of a burglar when the system is set up at night or any other time the facility is closed. While we can't keep a teacher from purposefully circumventing the door from being closed or locked, it can notify you that THE DOOR IS OPEN. Another useful tool to help mitigate this type

Stunning Defeat for Biden Amendments at the WHO

D.C.May 31, 2022 – Last week at the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA) meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, the Biden administration’s attempt to present 13 proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) that would empower the World Health Organization (WHO) to unilaterally declare a “public health emergency” for any reason, failed miserably. None of Joe Biden’s 13 proposed amendments were adopted by the WHO. Rather than reducing the time frame, as Biden sought, the delegates agreed to extend the time for a member nation to reject an amendment from 9 to 10 months. The current 24-month time to implement a regulation after entry into force of an amendment remains the same. A “Working Group on IHR Amendments” (WGIHR) has been established and there are upcoming meetings scheduled to continue the process of discussing proposed IHR amendments.
