God orchestrated our steps to push back the hands of death from this kid

I have traveled to Jacksonville Florida countless amounts of times-and today was no different than any other day. We were headed there because I was to preach at a youth service. I know how to get to Florida, but for some reason when I got to Albany, either I missed my turn or something, but I never got on interstate 75 in Tifton the way I was supposed to.

When it dawned on me to check the GPS, I was headed towards Valdosta on a back road. So rather than being frustrated,

Stacey and I just said to each other maybe God brought us this way for a reason. Add to it, the AC in my car went out, no fun! But Lo and behold as we were driving, there was a Dodge dealership that said free AC checks.

We pulled in to see if they could look at our AC but they were booked up. So, we just continued through Valdosta enjoying the sights.

Dear Reverend: I feel so excluded from the fraternity where I go to worship. There are persons who give the impression of knowing the meaning of everything that is happening, biblically, today.

They know all about a ‘Jezebel Spirit’, Blood Moons, the Prayer of Jabez, President Trump’s name being associated with the end times, demons, and deliverance.

Is there a special course you could suggest so I could attain the proper status and be accepted by others?

Wanting -----Dear Wanting: What do you desire? We should be pleasing to God, and not ‘men-pleasers’.Indeed, I can suggest a course: it’s called the Bible. 2Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

I will touch on a few items, but know that the Bible is not self-contradictory or hard to understand. Stop listening to other people’s opinions and listen to what God says.

There are tons of prophecies and misrepresentations in the world. This is not something new.

Lots of head knowledge and parroting popular sayings is not what God wants. He wants His profound truth to get way down inside your Spirit man, and wants His Holy Spirit to enlighten you.

1. Jezebel spirit. The Bible does not mention a ‘Jezebel spirit’, although it has plenty to say about Jezebel herself. Read for yourself 1Kings Chapters 16, 18,19; and 2Kings chapter 9; and Revelation 2:20. First and Second Kings in the Old Testament is speaking about one person named Jezebel, and Revelation is speaking about another woman named Jezebel – two different women. In both cases, one of her traits is an obsessive passion for domineering and controlling others, especially in the spiritual realm.Be careful not to label others because you cannot con

trol them. This is a controlling, destructive spirit that comes from Satan.

Rev. 2:20-25 “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. That which ye have already hold fast till I come.”

The words in Kings and Revelation are dealing not with ‘spirits’ of some kind, but with a real king’s wife, and with a real woman leading a cult against a certain church at Thyatira.

2. Blood Moons. The phrase ‘blood moons’ does not appear at all in the KJV Bible.

That is my most treasured and traditional Bible, the one I grew up with and trust.There are three places in Scripture where our closest celestial neighbor turns to the color red: Joel 2:31 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” Acts 2:20 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.” Revelation 6:12 “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun be came black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon be came as blood.”

The discovery of the

moon tetrad (a group or set of four) and the false beliefs that all eclipses occur during God’s Holy Days has proven a boon to prophecy-based ministries. They can make quite a bit of ‘blood money’ spreading prophetic nonsense.

The moon will NOT turn to blood. And, they are natural events!

Prayer of Jabez.

The prayer of Jabez reveals that He understood what many people do not: there is only one God, and He should be the center of our work.

We must first make the choice to invite God into our life and ask for His blessings.

1Chronicles 4:9-10 “And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

Jabez wanted to influence the sphere around him, “that You would bless me.”

Are you chasing broken promises and blessings with which the world tries to entice you? Prosperi-

ty in your own strength?

Your heart must be fully invested with the blessings of God, “that you would multiply my territory.”

Jabez was not referring to physical land: he wanted his spiritual territory to increase, to claim generations for the land of Israel.

“Your hand be with me”.

Pray that God’s hand would lead you through any circumstances and trials that come your way. That is the greatest blessing: “Keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” The name ‘Jabez’ literally means ‘born with pain’. His own mother named him this because of the pain she endured in labor! 1Cor. 4:9-10. “For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honorable, but we are despised.”

When Jabez prayed, he spoke against the testimony of his name, and he let go of the shame that covered him.

When you pray, come to God vulnerable and ready for Him to turn your weakness into His glory!

Email: Louise.alleva@gmail.com It is very important to understand the many facets of forgiveness that comes in ways we may not even think of. Over the many months I have shared with you how we should forgive others, seek forgiveness from those we have hurt, be quick to forgive, walk in forgiveness, etc. But there is another kind of

forgiveness that we seem to have trouble receiving and that’s when we are the one being forgiven.

We may respond with relief, but more likely we still hang on to the guilt of what we’d done or said and cannot forgive ourselves.

Even one more difficult than that is receiving God’s forgiveness. There

We immediately pulled over and were the first ones on the scene finding a lifeless kid lying on the side of the interstate.

Before I could put the car in park, we began to call on the name of Jesus.

Once I got to him the only thing I knew to do was to lay my hands on him and say “Father, in the name of Jesus, touch this child and spare his life. Cover him right now”. As I began to pray, his legs began to move. Another gentleman came up and the first words out of his mouth were “Father in the name of Jesus”. As we began to pray, the young man began to come around.

About that time two ladies came up and said they were nurses. The

young man’s eyes were swollen shut from the im- pact of being ejected through the back window of the truck. Little did we know when the nurse got to him, she grabbed the first thing she could to put under his head.

When they finally moved him, I discovered that it was a Bible she had used to lay his head on.

When I picked the Bible up, after he was transported already, A picture of Jesus is the first thing I saw.

are many scriptures that speak of the love of the Fa- ther and through the death of Jesus we have the ability to go to the throne room of grace and ask for forgiveness with the promise that we will be forgiven. While praying about this article, I came across an excellent example of God’s way of forgiving. A pastor was hosting a prophetic minister to speak. After ministering to many of the congregation, the prophet turned to the pastor and his wife and revealed very powerful and accurate insights about them.

The pastor was so affected by what was spoken over them that he invited two other minister couples to be prophesied over at the next evening session. The first couple was thrilled with his insights and then he moved on to the second couple. The husband was given profound words over him but when the prophet turned to his wife he stopped, then said “you have in your past a deep and dark sin”. The wife

He then forgets what the sin was. “He remembers it no more, Hebrews 8:12. Psalm 103:12 says, “ As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.”

Those scriptures seem very clear, but the problem was that the wife couldn’t forgive herself. She was so burdened with the guilt of her past she couldn’t really accept the fact that God really forgave her. It took a prophet to give her a new

One of the most loving and dedicated long-time 40 Days for Life leaders was attacked at his vigil outside the Planned Parenthood in San Francisco.

Ron, who is 85 yearsold, has been leading the campaign in San Francisco for years, and I have personally witnessed his joyful and compassionate approach to women seeking abortions and women who have had an abortion.

On March 19, a perpetrator approached the vigil and threw a sign, a table and pro-life literature into the street. He then knocked two men to the ground during that incident, including Ron. On March 21, Ron was the victim of a brutal attack when the assailant returned, stole the 40 Days for Life banner, and proceeded to viciously kick Ron. Ron tried, unsuccessfully, to stop the theft of the banner by putting a stick into the spokes of the as-

sailant’s bicycle. Then, the perpetrator shoved Ron to the ground and began violently and repeatedly kicking him while yelling, “Stay on the ground, old man.”

USA (MNN) — According to a Barna report released last month, nearly half of Christian Millennials think “it is wrong to share one’s personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes that they will one day share the same faith.”

In contrast, only 27 percent of Generation X, 19 percent of Boomers, and 20 percent of Elders are hesitant to talk about their faith in Jesus with non-Christians.

The issue isn’t that Millennials don’t feel equipped to share their faith. Eighty-six percent of Millennials said if someone raises questions about faith, they know how to respond.

But evangelism today has received a bad reputation in American society. Barna points to possible factors such as growing spiritual apathy and cultural distrust of religion.

Faith-sharing; a thing of the past?

Jesus’s final orders to his followers were to “go and make disciples of all nations.” This is known as the Great Commission.

But Ron Hutchcraft with Ron Hutchcraft Ministries says the Great Commission is quickly becoming the Great Omission.

“Missions conferences used to be just part of the life of virtually every Bible-teaching church in America. Now they are becoming an endangered species. You don’t see too many missions conferences anymore,” Hutchcraft says.

“The Urbana conference has been an epicenter of new missionaries being called to go and carry out Jesus’s orders. Their attendance was, for the first time, down nearly one-third just a couple of months ago. That is a

In addition to a cultural shift away from faith-sharing, Hutchcraft says the focus of some churches is shifting. “There is declining support for missions because I think a lot of times our churches are focusing more resources on their church and inward and on their own community. That’s Jerusalem, but what about Judea and Samaria and the outermost parts of the earth?”

Although the man is speaking in his native language, Hutchcraft says you could understand his heart. “As it gets closer and closer, you hear him sobbing in this voice trying to tell them, ‘Get to the higher ground! Get to higher ground while you can!’
